TP and Cisco Police?

Hi Bros and sis,

Need some help. Today morning 6 plus going for work in loyang. Encounter this running event going on and escort by cisco Police. When stopping at a cross junction I was going straight. The traffic light suddenly change to red with green arrow. So, I stop at the stopping line. Then, the cisco Police ask me to go. So, I just go. need to ask, can I stop at the stopping line if the cisco Police ask me to go but the traffic light is in red?

Personally, if it was a camera junction, i'd rather wait for the next change of light. People can honk me all they want, but I don't want to waste the time to write to TP to appeal. They'll probably waive it, but just dun want the trouble.

 

EDIT: self -gun also... cos if dun obey = offence too.

hey...thanks for the link. it is a good read. i guess, after thinking this through, it is the ONLY thing we can do...to follow the directions. also, IF the camera was to snap, it will surely also show the TP/Cisco officer inside. should be OK lah...right?

Hi scubasimon, for my conclusion like wat maddog bro mention on his statement that he rather wait for the next change of light. But however if there is a TP or Cisco police directing the traffic when giving signal to proceed. If the red light up and ask u to proceed if u don he will give a 3 point for not following of disobeying traffic direction of police officer. If u proceed also be charge as beat red light... So confess.... :-)

When TP/Aux Police is directing traffic, his/her directive overwrites the traffic light, if not, stand there for what? Please don't be an *** and inconvenience other road users.
