[Q&A] First road trip to Thai advise?

CrossOver

Recommended Posts

Hi guys.. I will be going to Thailand and this will be my first trip up north.. For beginners do you guys have any advise?

At the moment I do not know how many stops interval and at which part of Malaysia to pit stop and rest.. If anyone has any itinerary to share that would be great as well.. As for Thailand, me and my friends have no idea yet where to go to as well..

Our main objective is for the experience, sights and to achieve reaching Thai..

hi CrossOver,

Happy to hear that u r making your way up to thailand (Lands of smiles) for the very first time, before we can really suggest any place that u can go..i will advise u to share with us how many days u have in hand for this trip,if u have only 3-4 days i will advise u to visit hatyai town...only 60 km away from sadao border. if u have more days then maybe u can make your way up to koh samui,phuket...or even further....

My prefered travelling petrol stops.

1.Ayer keroh R & R (205Km) 160km interval to rawang.

2. Rawang R & R (365km) 180km interval to SG. Perak.

3.SG Perak R & R (545Km) 245km interval to Bukit kayu hitam.

4.Bukit Kayu Hitam (790km)

5.Hatyai (858km)

and also u must also do a pre-trip bike check....to make sure that everything runs smooth...tyre repair kits...set of tools..autoroaming mobile lines, torch light, rain coat,Malaysia maps,GPS (if have any) and also emergency help lines,

if incase that u need urgent helps @ any part of anywhere...refer here for more details
