hantar servicing? mestilah pernah hantar.. tapi aku tak pernah hantar kat Hong Leong before. Aku rasa a few of the Darkside guys pernah hantar. So kalau kau nak feedback kena tanya dorang ah. So far akunya paling major servicing is Valve clearance. Tak burn sangat pocket aku pasal time tu aku ada lebih duit sket...:angel:

timing chain + tensioner can change when kaunya mileage reach 80000kms. Valve clearance recommended at every 40000kms. Air filter at 20000kms

 

Valve clearance usually takes 2 days. Engine must be totally cooled before removing the top block. Clearance must be checked on a cooled engine..

 

 

ni semua apa yang aku tahu ah.. lain tempat lain cara. lain rider lain cara.. Ni semua mengikut kesedapan dan ke-satisfaction satu satu individu.

Hello Doink1,

 

If I'm not wrong, Hong Leong Yamaha charges around $500-600 on valve clearance + timing chain + tensioner and some other minor bearing parts. They can give you a rough estimation on the price. Ask for a quotation.

 

If you go to other bike shops, It'll cost you almost the same, so it's all up to you. oh ya, another bike shop that's fairly good is Bike Lab along upper s'goon rd right b4 mah motor. Apparently i was told that they are quite skillfull in the R1 engines.

aku plak nak buat reservation pat saner pasal side mirror, esp yang sebelah kanan, mcm da lari sikit la....nak kena suruh mekanik setting balik tu mirror :lol:
