Didn't feel that hitting just 220kmh on a thousand is acceptable, so I sent my Fzs1 for a top overhaul. If after this i still cant hit 250kmh, its for certain i got a lemon. Also had a look at the plugs i just installed for a week. Looks like the mixture is running too lean. Should ask him to tune the carbs, this time infront of me. Mech. Reports that the rubber part connecting the carbs to block is damaged and needs replacing. I'll need to head down to see what bloody part could justify the quotation doubling. Wish me luck, guys.
