haiyah..I'm not trying to create a scene among fans of various tuning centres lei.

I've been to Pleasure and I've been to Looi's. Bought my PC III from Pleasure and had my 1st custom dyno mapping there. The overall hp gain from the 1st mapping is not up to my liking. Dats all I want to say. (145hp to 149hp)

After additional mods done here and there..I was recommended by Bikewerks to get my bike retuned by Looi's. Before the bike was sent to Looi's I remembered my mileage. My bike was ridden over to Looi's not towed and then tuned. The initial base run was 156hp. After tuning it came to 165hp. Upon returning from the tuning, I came to collect my bike. I took a look at my speedo..only increased by 3km!! I suspected my bike was not custom mapped but only received a downloaded map from the net cause if custom map, must start from a zero map and every rpm at an interval of 250rpm must be tuned. So base on my calculations from the Pleasure experience, a custom map will take at least 1 whole day and whole lot more km(distance) will be covered and shown on my mileage. But at that point of time, I was both quite happy and angry. Happy cos my bike showed alot of improvement(hp) and angry cos I felt cheated. I want a custom map and not a downloaded map...BUT my anger is so called baseless cos I'm not there to see it myself.

NExt stop, Unity. I wil go to Unity for a custom map or juz a base run soon but dun noe when. I want to compare my current numbers(165hp) to the numbers the dynomometer at Unity will show. Only then I can give a better opinion for myself after trying all 3 tuning centres.

No offense to anyone or shop..this is juz my own experience.

Bro, it ok. I just wnat to know more. Since there is only 3 tunning centre in SG.

I would say your bhp number would drop if dyno at unity. Should be around 140++

But bhp is not the thing to look at afterall. It would be the A/F ration that matter.

And there is no way one custom map can be done at just 3km of milage on the dyno. Just one simple base run will clock you 3km laio laio.

When my bike went for custom map at unity, i think he use up more than 3/4 of my full tank of fuel.

I do not have any connection at unity , i just know the mech as friend. But he is the mech, not the boss. A custom map at unity will cost you about $150.

My current bhp at unity is only 160bhp at a SAE of 0.98. if SAE is 1 than it should be about 170bhp.

Loois is using a diff machine frm e rest..they way ur bhp calculated is diff..so ur final numbers are bound to be diff betw e shops..can't remember exactly which shop will result in higher number :thumb:

Dyno run cost about $90, but tunning will cost more around $150.But maybe if you know the mech or the boss , you can get cheaper tunning cost.

Most downloaded map from dynojet website are not very suitable for our country use, as humility is evry different from SG. But is good to have a dyno run , to check your A/F ration even now your bike is running smooth. As maybe your

top end A/F is lean, and if you whack too much with not enough petrol, i think you know wat is the consequence.

so des neyy...

ok got a clearer picture on the price range and the service for the amt.

so who shall i look for at unity, i mean the recommended dynorun custom tuner if i drop by there. but im more concern of the fuel efficiency and smoothness rather than horse power.

servicing of throttle body kit??

thanks WW

You can go look for ah siong. Anyway he is the only one at unity that is certified to do custom mapping for your PC3.
