1 factor of speedometer inaccuarcy is due to sprockets.. changing sprocket size your speedo reading will change also.. if i'm not wrong..

 

easiest way go install a bicycle speedo.. quite accurate

what i guess is.. if speedometer by front wheel.. if smaller profile tyre..spin faster. or let say original 18" rim change to 17" rim.. conferm 17 spin faster.

go kpe test speed accuracy. den u will know accurate not. 1 test quite expensive.

u'll shd go garage sales. alot of farnie thread e.g. "super modified" ninja that can hit 300km/hr "scientifically tested" by 2 abangs on nshw.

 

rule of thumb with cl2b bikes: more racing sticker = more hp. recently one thread in garage sales .. krr can hit 190km/hr!!! i feel bad for the person who buys it. can u imagine, his speedo show 90 but he really going @ 60 *facepalm* then all the loti-chia overtake him.

its true that 2b bikes have inaccurate speedo. theres different between analog and digital the way they pick up the speed. even among 2b bikes speed can be different. try a rs125 sp tzm kr riding together along side eacho ther. speed different can be up to 30km/h bewteen different speedo and the higher u go the bigger inaccuracy.

 

i tink evrysingle vehichle will have slight variation on the speedo..so i tink v hard to no which speedo is accurate...

maybe next time jus use tp speed camera?most zun wan maybe?

my sp at 140 is the same as a cbr600 and r1 digital meter 140.

 

anything further than it, i didnt try to clock.

can't you just use your gps enabled phone to test speed? i think the gps will record a speed that is reasonably accurate. so if this number is close to what you see on your speedo, then you know it is good enough. something like that.
