This is truely how I feel, they should spend the time going out to stop those idiots who change lane aruptly and cause accident or

those suckers who change lane then turn signal and dun check first, causing the person coming from behind to jam brake..

But coming into the MCP to summon such a small thing?

The number plates came along with the bike when I bought it.. If I were to hit someone, I would not flee.. same thing I would not want someone to flee

if I was hit. The reason for the small number plate is cause the zero gravity windsreen on my ride is too small, no where else can i paste the numbers.. very ugly. btw my ride is R1...

mayb they r rounding, doing checks in the mscp. then they saw ur cute little number plate, n decide to give u a ticket for that. since ur front plate is small, its a matter of when. since u got the ticket, then just get it done n change to the legal size. ugly is not an excuse. fixing an IU is ugly for all bikes but STILL have to install. unless u dun mind spending more on fines. likewise, if u dun mind the fine, u can still use that number plate.

Maybe can smoke them, said the number plate shrank after you washed it!

Hahahahahaha!! Imagine this excuse, "Sir, I went to JB for bike wash and the number plate shrunk because the water they used was not at the right temperature".....

haiz.... why must they make life so difficult for us.... 70 or 100 can buy many things and many months season tic.. first time tio lidat also.. shioked... but it's a good experience..

Yup, $70 can buy you a nice customised, embossed, street-legal licence plate. Just pay the fine, change the number plate and take it as lesson learned.

Actually, this is a pattern I've observed for some time.

I've spotted LTA officers going into carparks and checking up on bikes and cars. I mean, they literally park their bike at one of the lots and go around, in full uniform and helmet on and checking every vehicle.

Think these poor dudes haven't hit their quota for the month.

I just couldn't believe when a bike park at car park also can kenna summun like that.

If TS caught while riding on the road, have to swallow it. But park already still catch leh.

Not professional I think.

They should have go sumbun those idiot drivers anyhow park their cars instead of such illegal number plate things. Truely un-professional... If I kenna like that, hard to swallow.

I was caught on the road with small plate 5 times during 1 year rides. But I am willing to pay the fine of SGD$70.00 each time. Till today, I replace with original big big plate and they don't even bother me at all :-)

Cheers!

TP main job is traffic related offence ; speeding blah blah blah...

Precisely! And still people cannot accept this. haiz. Its a duty that they need to perform. Its the same as the Cisco guys. They dun go catch those speeding, only task to do parking offenses. So each of them have a specific tasks to do.
