still ppl will go one, many bikers buy expensive and left with peanuts, so they accept peanuts (sometimes rotten fruit)and the monkeys are still there. :lol:

farking cb ah keong..my rear hugger the chain guard part finally snapped...they still insist that its my suspension problems...guess how much they quote mi to repair? $280!! even BIKELAB is cheaper lor....knn forever condemn HKL liao!!!

HKL no need to blacklist one, most bikers know Ah bee's reputation. Even if his mech screwup you also cannot out talk him one. :lol:

u didnt inspect the hugger after they fitted for you?

 

its hard to blacklist this shop, even after so many years of bad remarks, reputation etc..., people still go there. and its the busiest bike shop in that whole area.

i luv peanuts, but i also try to minimise the risk of getting monkeys by inspecting them do the job :D

if can't then lppl go to a shop dat will solve the problem n will b taken in gd care when u r away...

 

the "BEST" mech i have seem till today is the mech at southern motor.... young young 1 plump plump 1.....

 

mi 1st time see pple wash carb like dat.....(take out the carb.... then open the cover of the jets.... n pump in the petrol n wash... then use air gun blow blow then okie liao.... tunnin part.... he start my bike n he look at the syn meter, then after a sec off it n tune it... then start again n tune again... n stop... best......... super save petrol...) somemore the boss say he is the best 4 big bikes...... ahhhhhhhhhhhhh.....

 

this shop is the worst i had seem off..... worst then LAB n HKL....

Normally I always go HKL for simple service or buy oil becoz it is cheap. and eyes on what they are doing..

Bigger service never let them touch. NEVER :sian:

 

But simple service like changing FRONT TIRE they also cock up!

 

This was the case I experienced when I let them change my front tire. As all bikers know changing front tire is the most straight forward thing.

This mechanic from HKL was so clumsy and lousy that after changing the tire my front brake rotors was all pasted with grease!

 

The bugger rolled my bike out and pull the front brake lever and the grease got between the front pads! I had to go back and dismantle the pads and clean them! This type of shit skill where will they ever improve! :nono:

Quality of mechanics, lousy but there is one who is good. He is always quiet, and I think he is the chief mechanic there.

 

One thing for sure, must talk wif the boss for price, den servicing must go to the chief mechanic...and must use ur own eyes stay wif ur bike and see how they do.....else sure to cock up one, even change engine oil oso can cause my engine oil cap to scratch (XJR one is metal one leh, and silver in color so scratch liao very ugly).

same here . went there to change tyres , in the ned , my front rims got a lot of chip marks . My fren when to change bearing head there and got "cai tao" by them . muz complain to CASE . Now i only go motorworld .

bought my bike from hkl and the shop say wait for 1 hr to process and repair the bike parts but total wait 5hours the bike initially dun have feul meter, rpm meter, speedo meter connected, 4t, 2t, brake fluid oso dun have ... i was so pisses with the f**king shop :nono:

Hmmm... I only went there to change tire b4. service ok loh. Cheap so no choice.

Go there change tyres are must be careful. Especially if u'r changing for 2B bikes. Heard stories of them using Rear tyres as front ones when changing it.

REMEMBER, check the rubbers before they put it on! :D

his name is 'ah hian', they call him kent. his working area is front right of the shop when u walk in. he's responsible n well verse on most models, also able to assist DIYer like me when i'm on bike trips.
