Yes it does. As a driver I can affirm its effectiveness. Bikes already look so small in the mirror and easy to miss. With the lights on, you definitely know there's something there.

i got stop recently for the headlight.i told the tp i though after 7 then must on.LOL.then he told me only for car and he say he didnt fine me just warning for first time offences i think.

It's inside your bike training book. I remember CDC inside got say must on all the time.

got fine..

no demerit point..

 

but even if no fine just on lah..

although in the bright hours in the day

the headlight isnt very obvious..

it gives u just tat bit more chance for vehicles to see u...

i usually switch off the light unless TP nearby then i switch on. :lol:

For me i feel the bulb so cheap. The battery so cheap. So conserve also for what? If blow or spoil, few dollars only. Just on la! :)

well this sillypore, funny things always happen here :angel:

 

Actually I saw one bike on the road, during nite time, the vehicle lighting system failed. The rear especially, I can't really visualize when its traveling ahead of me. Unless rider step on the brake, which mean the bugger behind him/her have little time to react, if the following distance too close for comfort.

bike is a machine without soul, rider would inject new life and character to this machine
