Just checking in to see, if anybody knows of any accidents that hqppened along the way back from 3NCR?

 

Heard that there was a fatal accident involving a Singaporean rider.

Fc abt 1L to 23Km .....at 115km / hr

yup is dam cheap ... but hor ... 115km for 700km ...... Faint lor ......

 

I rethink your FC for the trip.

Assuming RM2 per litre.....RM100 for 50 litres of petrol.

Total distance travelled 700x2=1400

FC =1400/50 = 28km/L

heard frm my colleague this evening that it was his friend that met with this misfortune ... heard frm him that body was into pieces, so bad that he had to be cremated b4 bringing back ..... not sure details & bike he was riding ..... RIP manz......

Thanks for the info.... it is a very SAD piece of news, which I would not have wanted to get confirmation on.

 

I met this chap very briefly, when he was at the showroom purchasing another bike.

 

God rest his soul and may he have peace, in the grace of the Lord.

 

Condolences to his family and loved ones.

Whatever it be....., one of our fellow riders, wont he returnig to his loved ones on this earthly home because, he had met with a terrible incident that had put an end to his life on this earth.

 

In his passing, let it be a reminder to all of us whom ply the highways and byways.... our bikes may be strong and sturdy, but our lives, in comparison, are frail.

 

RIDE FAST, RIDE HARD, if you need to satisfy your ego, desires, etc, etc....

 

BUT MOST OF ALL.... RIDE SAFE...!

I asked several sources when I first heard the tragic info.... cant really remember whom told me.

 

Do you have any more accurate info, cos what I have is largely speculative and hear-say.

 

Would be good to know what really happened, even though it would not actually make anything better. It would be more of a piece of mind issue.

 

Myself and some others rode down the NS Highway from Penang... leaving hotel at noon and taking long stops along the way, before finally reaching GP at close to 2000 hrs.

Did not see any incidents along the way and as such, assumed that the route taken by the deceased on that day, was different, unless he left even later than noon.

 

Will be relieved if you could enlighten on the details.
