When staying overnight in hotel at malaysia ( Genting, malacca, K.L. etc )

 

wat are the advisable precautions one should take or as a group

 

Alarm ?

Disc locks ?

Pad locks ?

Chain bike to some place ? chain few bikes together ?

Cover bike , canvass ?

 

etc etc ...............experts and old birds pls advice

Normally we disc lock+ handler lock....

Worse case chain a few bikes together...

Install a bike alarm (Two way),ALARMED disc lock,and stay somewhere that u can see your bike from a distance,remember..those ideas cannot really 100%prevent theft..but they can deter them...

Few months bacK i rode to Genting

 

-lao pok bike like mine, put 3 portable alarm on bike

and 4 lock with 1 chained to pillar.

 

-when I check out, the lock chained to pillar and my

footstep linkages, the screw removed halfway (failed attempt)

 

-I know this only after riding down and it loosen and vibrate

 

-Also, my fuel tank empty. Got drain out until reserve

I top up full just before I went up de

 

If I go again, I'll still use my 3 portable alarm and 4 lock,

this time with bike cover too.... lol!
