no leh.. i never heard anyone who dare to say solksjaer is not serious abt his football..

 

anyway, i expected that utd will lose this game. even placed a bet on it and all 3.. (1x2, exact score and total goals)..

 

before u guys start flaming me, i am a utd fan since '92, just that i bet with my head, not my heart..

 

anyways, although i expected us to lose, wat i didnt expect was the booing of michael owen. 118 goals, top scorer for pool for 6 straight years from 98-04, 8 yrs of dedication.... and all he got was a banner saying "once a manc, never a red"..

talk about being ungrateful.. even some ppl who i watched the game with were booing..

and before anyone starts mentioning tevez, pls read first.. tevez insulted our greatest ever manager as soon as he left. not once did owen bad mouthed liverpool, his manager, its fans or players..

United close on £50m targets

Manchester United are closing in on a £50million double swoop for David Villa and David Silva after Valencia admitted they are prepared to sell.

 

Sir Alex Ferguson has been tracking the the Spanish pair for some time but no deal could be struck in the summer.

 

But as United continue to struggle in the absence of the departed Cristiano Ronaldo, Ferguson needs to find a world-class source of goals - and could be ready to splash a large chunk of the £80m he got from Real Madrid.

 

United are operating with just three established strikers in Wayne Rooney, Dimitar Berbatov and Michael Owen.

WOW!! If the swoop does happen ... the squad will be deeply strenghtened. And with Obertan making his debut in the Carling Cup. Valencia are not in any Europe competition rite?? Cos would be a waste if both players are cup tied.

If we do get those two we have a good chance of winning the league but maybe not the champion's league. Our midfield problems can't be solved by silva alone and our defence has been too wonky so far.

Yeah!!!. Valencia got no choice but to sell their world class players juz to pay their massive debt. thrs a lot of speculations bout players going to United. we got Dzeko, Silva, Villa, Neuer, Adler, Akinfeev, Kjaer, Lopez, etc... on United radar. not sure which of this will be the real deal. :faint: the Pools too wanna get their hands on Mata another Valencia player. it shows tht Valencia desperately need the money.

 

imo, Fergie needs to strengthen their central midfield as well as VDS will be no longer playing anymore. he quitting end of the season i guess. time for Evans, Rafael to play. we need aggressive young blood not the likes of u know, weak players against the Pools. :sian:

this season will be VDS's last but SAF is trying to convince him to sign for another .. which will take him to 40 .. this shows how desperate r we .. haiz .. our 2 backup dun seems to convince SAF too much ..

i really hope Ferdinard will be bench for a few games .. he need to wake up .. taking his spot for granted .. Evans n Brown r both good enough to stand in anytime ..

50 mil is dirt cheap for both villa n silva .. compare to the money paid for Ronaldo n Ibrahimovic ..

VDS might be retiring after the world cup and akinfeev's display against manu in the UCL is also quite convincing to see him replace VDS. there is another game against CSKA this coming wed. hope that manu wins that game too.

hahaha...same old fools....win against the big boys but against a small team...they're just miserable....they can brag about winning the big ones...but they cant brag about having a chance of winning the title this coming may.....haha
