i think platini is jealous that english clubs are dominating europe. last 2 seasons in the UCL out of 4 semi finalist 3 were english teams. and there has been an english team in the final in the past few seasons.

 

looks like another french team is trying to get man united into trouble...mayb can ask platini to sponsor italian clubs money,make them rich, dominate the uefa, than he will be happy..ahaha..he jealous lah..he italian but got no italian team in the uefa final since ac milan did a few years ago..

 

Platini doesn't like english team i guess.. when Real splash out so much money to buy superstar, he does not worry. if Man City, Chelsea & the rest(english team) he will sounded as it gonna be troubled for the italians, spanish etc.... :sian:

i disagree with u on this.. although im a frequent advocator of the "Sell Berba" club, i feel yesterday he was showed improvement to his game.. though not his finishing, which still sucks.. yesterday's game was the first time i seen him chase after loose balls this season.. maybe its cuz it was tottenham, but he actually WAS productive in yesterday's match..

 

that said, i still believe owen would have scored from THAT rebound!! o_O

I saw the whole match bro, i saw him run for the ball only like once, and he was only running half heartedly. His 1 touch was horrible, losing the ball more than 90% of the time. And when he lost it, he just stood there unlike the other players who chased back to regain the ball immediately.

Man Utd wins 1-0. Headed goal scored by last week's villain - Scholesy after the opponent keeper deflects Nani's blistering shot on goal.

 

Scholes is no Villian .. Huddlestone over reacted to get him sent off .. he was trying to recover a mis-pass by a fellow team mate ..

 

scholesy! a winning start to a new campaign.

 

great game .. it doesnt seems like a losing game rite frm the start .. well controlled but no end product ..

The part on Scholes being poor in his tackles , nothing to side .. Thats probably the only part in his game dat he din get it right most of the time ..

Even that cant stop him frm being one of the best midfielders , tis shows how good is he ..
