we have a new 30 year old greek defender for $2M...

 

Is it because the american owners cant afford to pay for someone in the age range of 26- 28?

Hopefully no injuries for important players like Gerrard, Carragher n Torres etc....

 

Expect the unexpected. Thats is why RB will have to sign more quality players. Look at arsenal. Even that 'B' squad can perform.

 

Looking forward to the game on Monday with Aston Villa. A strong win will set the season in motion. YNWA.

I think RB is signing him as a temporary replacement for the injured centre backs. Once the CB have recover then we shall see if we will still have the chance to watch him play. =)

Lucus scored a fabulous 34 mins header just that its at the wrong side...

Then Curtis Davis scored from a Corner in 1st half stoppage time.

Torres pulls one back but then Gerard conceded a penalty a few minutes later.

This is so frustrating.. So early lose points and have to play catch up with the rest oredy. But the season is long... hopefully the team dont take to long to get their acts together and start on a 14-15 winning match streak..or even better, all the way to the title..

The bruise was there from the start of the game. Think it was from the previous game where he needed stitch on his forehead...

 

I pity him sia.. working so hard to turn defenders but end up receiving elbows, shoulders, heads, thighs, legs and arms all over him. If all opponent's defenders resort to this kind of dirty tactics on him and Liverpool dont win anything this year, you may well be seeing Torres for the last time in the REDS jersey this season..

The comeback kings of last season are back....

Damn frustrating match.

The 2 Bolton goals were really LFC defence errors.

 

But Bolton were really pushing their luck in their aggressiveness.

Davies really deserved the red card for that 2nd foul on Lucas. And he has the balls to try confront Lucas after that.

Really confirmed what a fren mentioned to me. Bolton are really another gangster team.

And he's a Chelsea fan.
