last time for my 2a i bought my gsxr400 2 months before getting license cause can afford to pay cash.

for class 2 most probably i need to take up a reloan from a shop/ or coi 1 of the forumers class 2 bike with a transfer of ownership.[as i can max(bankrupt my piggy bank) down only up to 5k cash ( me poor man lah ) ]

 

But i doubt it can be done without first getting the license.

 

so for now im stuck with bmw(bus mrt walk ) & using my parents car from time to time

so example u have a 2004 gsxr1000 bike short form is k4/1000

 

the difference in stock cc comparison is huge between 600 and 1000

stock hp @ rear wheel 600s are like 110 stock thousand is 180( for newer models)

even those 2001 1000cc is pulling 160 hp @ rear wheel ( and can get cheap lor 5k +/ - )

btw go for fuel injection if anyone here plan to upgrade soon

carb 1000cc bikes is headache liao

 

Also our 400cc gixxers are 59 hp @ rear for l models the others with powercut about 54hp

 

technically a g4 can play with a 600 up to 200+ km/h but its overstreching our bike engine and recommended top speed regardless of what make l/ sp etc models is 180-185km/h

Push it more and risk damage the bike like me lolz

 

haha cant wait to get my class 2 >.> then can play play with those 600cc 's without damaging my bike

bike vs car completely different experience for me also :/

persoanlly i think its the car aircon.. for long drives to kl and such i need to stop multiple times to grab a cup of coffee or eat something

you know, even when any nice sporty cars i happen to pass by, i dont even bother taking a 2nd look @ them. sometimes, when i'm driving, stop @ traffic lights, sports bikes beside me, i will envy them...(spotted by my wife)

The first day of kiding my krr(after do transfer of lta with the previous owner n insurance done prior ) @ traffic light i stopped looked at my bike exhaust n way happy with myself.

 

Till a lady rider on a baby blue hayabusa stopped beside me @ that same traffic light. Looked at me, I looked at her bike n was like wow !

 

She was short n fat but her bike was bling

 

She prolly wondering this dude damn retarded so tall n big n still ride krr

Oh well i always envied haya while during my 2b days.

But after riding the g4 i realize its not all about cc but rather how agile the bike is.

My zxr400 cant do low corners, the g4 can.

If i think abt it the zxr400 is lower and longer something like a mini sport tourer and riding position not so crouched.

 

My sentiments also the same, always prefer bike to cars. even if in rain i don't really mind riding only that i will go slow cause it hurts :cheeky

~~~lolx. i believe she should look at herself if going into such conclusion. Nothing wrong being "tall & big" riding with a P-Plate. All bikers have to follow the Singapore system of progression, so why ridicule or look down ppl who does that... Not that there's any ways around or any choice.

Alot of concentration is involved and critical decision making in the next sec ahead and also the contigency plan next 1/2 sec ahead. We can't always stop or follow behind a car since the heat and fumes will make us go crazy while those in the cars ar listening to music, enjoying air-con cum cushion seat.

ok, i've tried using a very thin card to slice along the seals, air gun blow around the brakes, wheel to make sure no more particles. tried braking for few times with few throttles, no leak. now is to wait till evening time to try the bike when going home. hope it helps.....

i've changed for 2 times. 1st when i got the bike, 2nd around 6mths back. always the same side leak only. dont think its bent...

hey im a gsxr rider too! realy happy to see this page... im having probs wit my 1990 gsxr as it feels rough most of the time i ride it. the exhaust always shoots out black smoke. i damn tulan oredi. is it the pipe of improper settings? i just got it on aug 09. wen it rain, one or two of my plugs will blow. wen i book out of camp, my exhaust will sound funny and when i open throttle, the air doesnt come out smoothly. i have to rev and rev till the black smoke gone den abit ok. one more while moving off, i open throttle and the bike got jerking effects den smooth. f*** man... anyone can help? if can, u can sms me at 91039665(farhan). really appreciate ur help guys!
