oH MY God... U are perpetuating the cycle of getting Singaporeans and those that reside in Singapore into debt. All those Loans that they advertised seems really "shiok" and "convinent"... wait till u can't pay them and their tone will not be that those smilely face on the posters.

You sure? Most people in the States live a life of debts.

 

And in Australia, nobody will pay anything more then 2k for an RVF. If there are individuals who feel the need to prove themselves by paying 6, 8 or 10k for an RVF and then start struggling to finance the loan, then really they're asking for it yeah?

 

I bought a RGV250 SP when I was in Australia, bike made over 75bhp at the rear wheel and clocked in faster then even the 1000cc on the tracks. Paid only 1k for it along with heaps of spare.

 

 

 

I always say this to my fellow countrymen.

 

You are given a chance to make a change every 4 years; think with your ass and you'll be treated like one.

 

 

 

In the US... Loans r Cheap & Easy. Hence, the retards & idiots there live on Future Money. They get tempted into loans and spend more than they could afford. And also used Loans to Invest and Hedge. Thats why in the past... The news always said US fuel China and Asia cum Singapore Growth more than the whole of Europe. They sure are Fueling Growth... At the expense of Consumer Greed and Desire. So they r basically "kuku".

 

But they could well afford those lousy Old and 2nd hand bikes we r currently treating like Gold Mines. Just that almost all of them also having cars.

 

In Singapore, there's not much opportunity to think freely coz the downside far overrules the plus side. In Singapore, if business fails ---> Can't run from those really friendly banks and dun ever think of earning a normal wage to pay off those debt... I'm not really smart either, all i can do is work hard and save for my studies--> Provided that if am able to save.

You sure it is cheap? Personal loans in the US and UK are hovering around 10%.

 

Easy? Maybe, but it's just as easy getting a loan in Singapore.

 

Kuku? If you asked me, Singaporeans are none the better. How many here own cars or bikes with loans exceeding 70% and 3 years?

If the market is smart enough and refuse to buy those old and 2nd hand bikes at inflated rates, the prices will eventually come down. Prices are dictated by market forces, supply and demand yeah?

 

If there is a demand exceeds supply, sellers are free to set prices.

 

Here's an example. I bought a bike at 2k, spend 3k fixing it up with go faster bits and subsequently want to sell it for 5k. If the demand is good, I can stand ground on my pricing but if the demand is bad, my price would naturally have to come down unless I have holding power.

 

It's all a matter of who blinks first.

Hmm... Personal Loan in the US dun think that high since the Fed was degrading the Interest Rate till around 3 percentage point to boost spending years before the economy came to a crush. Alan Greenspan denounce any tighten measures or Government intervention saying that the market will correct itself if enough liquidity was pumped into the economy.

 

Around 1992... I've already foreseen that theres' no real growth with debt no matter how high the percentage point of growth is. Since ultimately, ppl have to repay debt in future.

 

The same with China when our Singapore Government was telling us that they r into low cost and labourious production, hence will never compete with us on high end manufactuing areas. I was thinking at that time that its bullshiit coz its a matter of time before China catches up with all the Investment from US and Europe. The Government here r all filled with lies and lies.. no more r they respected as in the past when Singapore is in turmoil and needs leadership. Now they r are fat moneysuuckers squeezing us of our life. And the only respite we could find is --> to be content with what we have and dun voice out.

 

For 2nd Bike.... Impossible to curb the demand unless our currency value rises or Pay rises.

With high spending power --- High End Goods will be in Demand.

With low spending power --- Low End Goods will be in Demand.

Thats part of the Law on Demand on economics.

Werk here for two years without Off, Leave, MC .. Even got Army Briefing or Meeting, i'll still be back to werk on the day itself and now i've even more things to do. How silly could i be for slogging off while my management try to save cost by cutting my OT. Not that am into OT since i try to manage my life first before werk... But its not easy. Take care all and may i get a NEW JOB fast!

~~~i have a friend who also ask me to quit my job eh after i told him that i'll becum really busy due to all my colleague either resigning or on leave back to back.

But his reason being --> So that my galfriend and me could accompany him and his galfriend on their weekend outing every week.
