GSX400RR Riders

Repair done at autobay, bought that bike for around $1600 excluding repair & servicing.

Bike was first registered in late 1996. (think last batch of gsxr 0.o?)

Cos when I was riding didn't feel good about the handling and performances. Thought it would be better to send in for repair and servicing.

The mechanic quoted me around $800++.

yup change suspension, dismantle the bike to wash the carb plus serving, hmm change my rear brake, install new bearing, 3 bottles of engine oil, service the radiator, tuning of engine, change casket plus labour fee loh. Cos I was told suspension alone cost $300 plus, should be quite wu hua ba.

try change the bulb, maybe blow liao.. btw, no switch for headlight unless you mod it.

haven . i transfere as LAID UP, cause the BIKE price very reasonable so i thought of laiding up first, grab it fast =X

wash carb + tune $80, brake pad $35+, EO $45+. pls make sure your floats all are in good condition, otherwise its a waste of time to service & tune it. i've been through there, all 4 float system cost me $600+. valve clearance $200+. just these 2 things...

its on lay-up? that exhaust not stock? if not stock, it will not pass. actually suspension can be lower if yours still can be adjust. how come look like kawa?.... haha Edited January 13, 2011 by ben2306

ya lay up, the pipe stock . that one sticker .. HAHA, GSXR 600 k7 fairing lehh. nvm next time i post the bike headlight, ben normally u send in to shop for inspec or go STA urself ?

hmmmm 3k, coe 2015.at first before buying,i saw the price afforable and maybe wanna go view, ska li, damn nice and the paintwork look new. so i get it as lay up . LOLS

3k with good condition should be quite reasonable ba, mine cost me around $2500 plus including machine price, repair and such. haha still cheaper than Cbr400 >_

ya FM, lols i think its because of the FRAME of the bike, previous owner lift it higher, the metal that support the seat
