yeah considering between this and cbr400... been following this thread for a while and it seems like gsxr400 will have quite a few engine problems, but i guess the reverse is true for cbr400 as well due to its age... the price for squid bro bike is good and COE still long long, so the price seems very reasonable, but i would hate to buy a bike for $X and have to spend just as much to do it up again... very heart pain and stressful to have to rebuild an old bike, like every time you go workshop the mechanic has a nasty surprise for you about your radiator, or wiring or engine....

1996 production gsxr400 should be quite ok I guess. Gsxr400 vs cbr400 I felt not much different, both are equally old. It really depend on the previous owners whether they take good care and maintain it. you need lot of patient to handle most 400cc bike due to it's old age. each individual percieved differently, as for me g4 is my choice, had no regret

Hey brothers, can you guys recommend a bikeshop that handles our bike well? I just had a new CDI and the bike was working fine yesterday. Today when i tried starting it again. It could not start and one of the fuse was totally melted. I'm not sure what might be the problem. Any suggestions?

guys any idea which shop selling G4 RPM cable and Front Brake Pad cause mine is making a SQUEAK sounds and also realise G4 got 2 caliper at the front, gonna change two pad ????
