what is the idling rpm and check the air filter if its dirty..the bike might be suffocating

Check your plugs, all four of them and provide a picture.

guys any idea which shop selling G4 RPM cable and Front Brake Pad cause mine is making a SQUEAK sounds and also realise G4 got 2 caliper at the front, gonna change two pad ????

 

For parts, I go to KS Motors or buy online from Motion Pro.

 

As for pads, they could be either worn or contaminated. If replacing worn pads, go for those HH material ones. If contaminated, a can of brake / clutch cleaner should do the job.

 

Yes, you'll need 2 pairs of pads. They must be changed together or your steering will pull to the side with stronger braking coefficient.

that's why. erm, ok. 4k-6k rpm, sound "lao hong", like lost power. & if i'm not wrong, even when i'm otr holding my throttle, can hear coughing as in petrol going not smooth. weight of eo? is it this, 10wXX, i forgot the last 2numbers... should can confirm its running rich as i can smell serious petrol smell from exhaust. only thing now is how to troubleshoot the problem. a friend of me told me maybe its the intake tube... 1 mech said float overflow. i guess the only way is to take out the carbs again. maybe this sat go bikeshop..

 

Shouldn't be your engine oil.

 

Sounds more like a carburetor jetting, I suggest you go to a proper bike shop to have this checked. Most shops are not very skilled in handling a flat side down draft carburetor.

bro yoshi, did you go to the recent sbf event? saw a CF fairing bike there @ racewerk. what bike was that? 500cc bike? 2 exhaust @ the side. seems to me like the bike model you riding.

 

That's a Suzuki RG belonging to Norman from RaceWerk, can't remember if it is a RG400 or RG500. You actually missed the 2 exhausts under the seat; there should be 4 exhausts as this is a 2-stroke V4.

 

You should have asked him to show you his "fuel" tank!

bro yoshi, does warm up play a very important part? asking cos just now i let it warm up for 5mins+, sound better alot. dont know its just luck, but will try warm up these few days to see whether its just luck or important.

 

Not much of a difference if you're riding for transport.

 

I usually allow my 4-strokes to idle a couple of seconds before gently riding / driving it out of the car park. This is to allow the engine oil to cycle through the engine. So long as you don't crank the engine to a start and start red lining the machine, there shouldn't be any difference.

 

2-strokes are a different animal.

my bike condition same like lyu....

 

can start every morning, but when i ride 1/2 hour... and swithc off the bike...

i can't start that bike immediattely.... sound like battery 'kong'

 

but if i wait for 15-25 min... then the bike can start like usually...

need to check plug? lamp?

just change a rectifier...but still same...

 

Check the surface voltage of the battery, it should be around 12.5 ~ 12.8VDC. With the engine started, the voltage should be around 13.6 ~ 14.3 VDC. This should help identify if the battery needs replacement.

 

Do the radiator fans on your bike get activated on a regular basis?

scrapping off my G4 :( had a bad engine failure.. and 2nd reason upgrade to bigger bike...

 

rim and tyres going tog.. 400$ brand new michellin poilet power

yoshimura exhaust 200$

stock exhaust 70$

anything else u need feel free to pm me...

should be tuning, like bro yoshitel said, look for a proper shop's mech that knows what's wrong actually.. just got it fixed b4 new year. mine was after high rev @ N gear, died. after he tunned, it never died no matter how sudden you high rev it...

bro, i got it fixed. its the spring & the needle like rod. it was uneven so petrol very unstable..
