Wow!yesterdae nite was damn happening.We all meet at pitstop relax n chitchat for awhile,so glad to see wendy got her G4 le..then sua to 5star chicken rice locate at rivervale.mmm delicious after tat dunno which monkey request goin telok banglah there collect spring water from the hill. some idiot even use to wipe their num plate (for better luck) .after tat we when up the hill to hav a nice breeze...poor teck...his bike could not go up the slope.We hav to run down n push up for him.he realli had a tuff day. Aniwae...there lots of thing happen on the hill...u guys noe rite..keke Ray n Julie.

After the outing we dismiss...dunno y everyone was in veri high mood.all ride like hell.especially in the tunnel.wah lau..i can see 1 of a kup kia stun...All ride like pro.When we reach ave 5 more worst.all playin drag. Phew...Damn shiok.We nv had tis incident b4. i rated 4.5/5

Do a bracket with a small lock that able to lock so it will not make so easy for those ppl to steal our cdi. Seat still kana steal still okie as the bike still able to move around then go ahboy or motordiam to buy...

 

Or guys, try cover your bike with bike canvas and tight hard infront under your front wheel. Got 3 good point is, if you din buy season parking, the auntie see your bike canvas so tight, they sometime also lazy to remove to check your number plate. 2nd, at least our bike under the canvas, so ppl won't see what bike issit and they won't think of any bad ideas. 3th, its will protect your bike parts, tyres and paint-work as its not direct under sunlight.

 

This is my idea only...i do have a small idea for the braket. but need to do some drilling onto the plastic so can put the small metal braket in to lock the CDI.

 

Wish that my ideas will do some help for you guys....

hi guys.. am not a GSX rider.. but looking out for one now..

Seems that most GSX on the road are very old nowadays.

What should i look out for when sourcing for one?

Also how do i tell what model it is? Seems that there is like R models or P models or what? Thanks in advance

Welcome to our world of gixxer lol.Actualli it dosent matter the yr of the bike.As long as the engine perfect can liao.Coz even the newest g4 may b not the best depend how the previous rider maintain.N some old G4 may hav overhauled.Some the best way is find 1of ur frd who's expert in Gsxr400 to follow u down n test the bike.Or u can ask ani of the old bird here for help.

Here my opinion: If u gonna ride tis for long term...choose original paintjob/FL plate n above.(engine muz b gd)check the cylinder,speedo etc lah.

but u gonna stand by for renew COE.N those B4 FL plate Coe should b renewed.

N yah...its not easy to get a 100% pefect g4.Old bike mah.So its normal tat u need to change/repair some parts.(minor prob) unless u buy at damn gd condition one lol.

back from melaka last weekend! took bus but actually can ride there... better... then can ride around the town and shop! sometimes can quite hard to get cab. but the food is nice... try the chicken rice ball, chendol(singapore's also can fight lah, seafood... nicceee!!!

a small black 'blacket'/'holder' (duno wat u name tat) which is used to screw n hold e side fairing to e main body broke..

there's actually 1 on each side..

hope u guys understand wat i trying to say here..

 

juz wonder hw much will it cost??

That so-call holder for the fairing quite hard to break one ler...how you manage to break it sia.....

 

I help you ask my friendz motordiam see he got the holder or not loh....

 

But mean while rite, get some nuts or short hollow pipe and correct thread nut that long enough to hold on to your fairing loh...

Dear Alvin...are u refering the Slider?To apply lesser damage to ur fairing when u skip...?if so it not onli Protect ur fairing...but also ur engine inside.I'm not veri sure how it works to protect the engine.

 

N yah..u cant find the slider outside..all u need is custom it.Jackson n I are still wking on it.We plan to made our own slider as we got the dimension on the slider le.It onli the matter on time.So,stay tune while i finish made my CDI locker.

hi Ice.. e 'holder' is not slider..

 

it like a 'knot' (make of rubber) that hold e side fairing to e main frame...it black in colour lor..think tealeaf n TnT might know it..

 

btw it actually din really break.. juz e screw came off frm e rubber n make it useless now(not hold e fairin anymore)..

i also noe a malay guy bought at $500 from his frd.

 

So...no harm go around meet up lots of seller.

Advice...Dun Gan Jiong....Choose wisely.Dun buy juz becoz of the outlook coz the engine is more to b consent.

Oh actualli i lookin for it...its veri hard to find leh...especially 400cc.the size of the bike and pipe so huge machiam 600cc.even the horse power higher than g4.
