can someone help me?

 

my bike seems to have some problem... ehh... the batt dun seems to b charging wor... i first tot the batt old liao then i changed a new one... but... today the bike just died on the way home... batt too weak... can only push start... *sigh*

 

anyone knows wat is the problem?:confused:

the reticifer prob most probably it's not recharging

i cannot say for sure u can get a 2nd opinon frm bike repair shop regular 1s but i think i have had this prob b4 :goodluck:

why don you go to yr trusted motorshop.. ask them to check whether yr retificer is charging a not. a VM should do the job.

anyone has DIY replaced their speedo gear?

 

me speedo died on me today. checked the cable by unscrewing from the speedo and then moving the bike. cable seems to be rotating fine.

suspect the blasted speedo gear is kaput.

Have the same problem 2 weeks ago, but mine prob was the wire from rectifier output to battery poor contact. so change rectifer may not work also.. remember to check the wiring also... hope this helps.

hmm.. no idea whether its steering cone though..

Anyway, does anyone know how to check if yr wheel bearing is faulty?

Wendy..Regarding ur prob...80% is rectifier prob...

if u wanna ensure...try use voltmeter tester...

if....

there are few rectifier prob

1)rectifier siaosiao...(eg.it still workin but-only charge 50% but release 100%

2)rectifier totalli cannot charge...u onli able to start by pushin(machiam GP bike lol

3)wire loose

4Wire Burn...if got time try check the wire..coz shock circuit may cause the wire burn...

 

Where u can buy

As tis is wear n tear prob...usually it is advise

to change every few yrs...

Normally a new rectifier may cost more than $100+

Used rectifier is also availble at LAB...price is neg.Price range from $30-45

another advice:dun change at LaB wkshop.Go to wkshop tat u trustable.Try D.I.Y..

Learn as u Do.:thumb:

last...if can take back the old batt tat u've change...coz the YUASA batt wrong spoilt easily...So tat u can use as sub if ur new batt spoilt.:thumb:

Noneed to buy a 2nd hand speedo gear...A new set is onli $50 include fix...gst inclusive..at planet.:thumb:

Its around there...but should b $125 bah...but me n kiat bought 2nd hand one...so far so gd :thumb:

I planning to change too...but veri ex...around $150-$200+ :giddy: but i gonna do my fork seal n speedo gear 1st :thumb:
