Yah...tink its your starter or something like that. if you can start it still, well n gd, still able to last for some time but if you try for hours n still cannot den you need to get it changed.

eh...i gt my carb fixed at Unity which is at alexandra there. kk i give u the breakdown of parts i had changed.

1) Floot Needle $48 x 4 = $192

2) Needle Set $12 x 4 = $48.

3) O-ring $1.25 x 12 = $15

4) Washing + Tunning = $65

In total adds up to $320... kinda ex but not bad...i really felt the difference...cos my carb needle set all wear off. after changing the the acceleration very smooth and the mid-end power is stronger...before i tune it the pick up is rough but strong...thus my fuel tank can only run up to 180km...which is a big prob for me.

maybe u guys can try it out...

eh...actually i'm nt too sure about how to judge the lifespan of the floats and pins...but if u feel that ur throttle when revving is abit stucks...there is power but can't use it completely...(by feeling lah)...den i think u go do a carb check or tunning... when u send ur carb for tunning the mechanic will open up and see mah...den he'll tell u if it's gd or bad...but pins and float seldom spoil lah...that's wat the mech told me....

but becos GSX is an old bike...furthermore the pins are made of aluminium unlike those dynojets which are steel....thus the chances of aluminium to wear is faster due to it properties.

Just to a simple disscussion i just wana ask if anyone you guys use engine brake all the time? is there any disadvantage using engine brake?

well for me, i always use engine brake before the red light stop and also before entering a corner...well do give me some feedbacks thx.

Posted

hmm i use front rear n engine brake whenever there's a immediately stop or slow down to red light. Better stopping.
