SOS!

 

guys... i got some questions here? how regular do you all guys top up your EO? cos i'm running on R4 4T then about 4000km le.. then i straighten my bike... i cant even see any EO in the marking at the side of the engine. which mean its below low i think.. i tried to bend my biek more to the right and i can see a little bit of them from the transparant window of the engine.

 

Y did the 4T dry up so easily?

 

this morning i change my 4T? from iniatilly ard 2900ml. when i drain it out... it left with about

 

Need advise...

 

i have check the side of the engine and there is no leakage and normally in the morning when i start my bike... there is no EO on the floor.. cos if there is leakage.. there will be EO on the carpark floor..

 

but the two pipe connecting from the engine to my somewhere near the carp there is always wet... look like something is leaking out.. i suppose the pipe is for 4T and there is slight leakage...

 

Guys out there?.... Any advise? ...

LumRacerX: 1 bottle is like $14. U need 2900ml for EO change n 3200ml for EO change plus Oil filter change. Sparkplugs if u wanna use OEM wan then its about $5 for NGK CR8EK or $5 for Denso U24ETR . I perfer Denso seems like it last n perform better,n it wont dust tat faster compare to NGK . Denso iridium produce more power n used less volt to operate. It cost ard $16 ba if u buy from LAB or etc..

Fit fuel gauge exp, Last time i asked, cost abt $150 w installation. We have basically 2 reserve, u put the Fuel switch to 6 o'clock thats ON position. This will use main tank. When u ride until ur bike *cough cough* then it means main tank finishing, thats ard 200km mileage le. At this time u should switch to 9 oclock position front. This will use primary reserve tank. can last u abt 30km at 100km/hr (at least mine does) then when *cough cough* Last resort, put the switch back to 3 o'clock position. This will use the remaining fuel in ur tank abt 2L worth, This is last resort and not reccommended cos it does not use vacuum and most of the time dirt in the tank will flow into the carb also.

 

So, Save on the money dun need gauge. I believe u ride 2b can get used to it, this one also can. If ur fuel cork spoil, good luck, I changed mine last year after getting my bike, the switch canturn 360 deg. means its gone! I changed it for $135 Original SUZUKI parts. Hope u will consider properly abt the gauge thing, I heard from my mech, put gauge must fix the float in the tank, seems the tank must be operated.. $$$$

 

U will get used to it, wont use until dry one, got 2 res, just make sure u dun kuku put at 3 o'clock position can le. Maybe can meet up one of these days.. :cheer:

Ard FJT or beside theres a few store. Or LAB . I think bought $8 at LAB . Msia ah gua lane selling RM16 per piece . But tats CR8E . Still da same .

Bro, there is no such thing as 2 reserves....

You are right about the 3 o'clock making the petrol flow without the use of vacuum but that is not 2nd reserve. That is called the prime mode.

 

9 o'clock as you mentioned is the reserve....and the only reserve available... and if that is used up then there is nothing left in the tank. The reserve is abt 2.5L.

Well. wat happened on my bike was I used until the 9 o'clock finished, then i switched to 3 oc'lock, then still can go so i suppose there 2 res lor.. But i didn't use too long on prime. When i used prime then i top up petrol straight le.. Maybe mistake on my part, but then still got reserve so no need be afraid..

care to explain more ? wads actually happens when it dun use vaccum? aka prime mode..

Normal mode is printed ON on the fuel cork. It is the main part of the tank u use abt 16L worth of fuel. The othe 2 is RES and PRI. RES is reserve abt 3L. and PRI is the part where the fuel will just flow into the carbs or out of the fuel w/o vacuum suction created by the Carb. Your Carb will create a suction effect similar to Vacuum and draw in fuel, however, when ur tank is very low on fuel, u can use PRI mode to supply the Carb. It is not advised however to use this unless its neccessary cos the dirt/rust in your tank will flow into the Carb too.

 

PRI will drain out your tank fully. Tested and done on my own bike. Other than supplying to the Carb I dun know wat other uses the PRI mode has... Maybe for the Mechanic to draw some fuel out to wash your bike parts? Anyone else care to share?
