Hi ther, need some help from bros here...a fren offered me to sell his rectifier...how to knoe whether rectifier is still quite new?? How to knoe whether rectifier needs to change?...btw fyi, my bike has a hard starting...after few starts, the bateri gets low..is e' problem lies with the rectifier??

do u have a voltmeter installed on ur bike..how low is ur low?..ard 8v after a few starts?..if yes probably u need to change ur battery...and to see whether ur rectifier is working...start ur bike and rev it to around 3-4k...if the voltage of ur battery exceeds 15v with ur headlight on...ur rectifier might be faulty..hope it helps :cheeky:

But i do not hav a volt meter..is ther another way to check it? Wat i meant by bateri low is that the sound of the starting coil gets softer until no sound...ther's e' time wen my bateri is low...

u let me know again...see when u and chai yi they all wanna go supper or what..can call me out also....anyway i got the yoshi pipe from a fellow g4 rider yat...find one day fix on ur yoshi pipe then compare the sound leh..haha

which direction of the switch is to reserve, which to close fuel?

 

- Arrow facing the front of your bike means reserve tank, arrow down means normal and arrow facing back of the bike means you're flooding the carb. Should be... Fellow riders do correct me if i made a mistake.

 

 

Are you sure arrow facing down mean normal ? i tot that one is off ?

On : Just turn on d key petrol is auto on

Off : Just turn off of d key petrol will auto off

Reserve : Knob facing front towards ure front signal light

Flood Carb : Knob facing back towards rear signal light (not advisable)

oh damn it ! i always put it to face the rear !

your cracked fairing fixed already? cost of patching up your fairing? which shop you went?

nope. not worth it for me to fix up cause im not riding it anymore. :cheeky:

but the quotes are around $100 to mend and spray the head fairing

call me ben. btw, i went to ks motor on sat to ask the brake disc. cost 280 per piece!!! i'm getting a pair of 2nd hand for 200.
