Hi all, new to this site and have a question to ask. I have just purchased a 2nd hand Piaggio X9, bike is about 2 years old. I went for a ride tonight and it seemed to get too hot; the temperature gauge was 1/2 way between middle and red. Is this normal? I checked oil and coolant; both OK with the oil in good condition. I think the bike has just recently been serviced.

Also, any recommendations on a good service centre near Alexandra Rd?

Thanks!

Sean

Hi Sean, did the ex-owner show you the servicing records of the bike? Maybe its due to the water pump as the water pump will be faulty ard 3 yrs due to wear and tear.

For more info, you may wish to ask the X9 riders over here at the scooter section. SBF X9 Cafe.
