is it possible to ask hkl to send the pipe for inspection and pass it before i made the purchase?

if can pass, hkl will surely make it pass.. as of last year, its still not legal.. high cost is involved for making exhaust pass, exhaust manufacturer test centre needs the bike to test before they can issue the cert.

Hey Everyone,

 

I was browsing through YouTube for exhaust systems for a couple of days, and I chanced upon this (It looks like Akrapovic..!!) The exhaust is extremely beautiful and sleek. In the comments section, I found out that this exhaust is available locally. The video shows that the exhaust was mounted onto a CBR400. I wonder does it fit as well as this CBR400.

 

I am currently riding CB400 (V-TEC 3). Did anyone try this before?

Bro I ever seen a similiar exhaust on a revo at plaza sing. But the brand on it is yoshi lei. But it indeed is a beauty exhaust! ;D

CB400 Revo exhaust I think different from CB400 VTEC 3 exhaust right..? I was told that I cant use exhausts from CB400 Revo..!! I like carbon fibre exhausts

Yup, that was what I heard from others too.

Yup, I do like carbon fiber as well, but indeed the colour will fade a bit after sometime of usage. I used to owned a cf sbk on my scooter, after a year of usage I realise the colour starts to fade a bit and became a little whiteish and shiny..

That's the only issue for me regards to cf exhaust.

Spec versions are bolt-on exhaust while Revo is slip-on, hence tats the diff between the fitment.
