Oh! I think I was mistaken when he told me about having HRC 030. :cheeky: Thanks for correcting the mistake. Anyway, I feel tat since BuRR06 had lost his key, he may as well make use of the chance to mod to HRC 030 using his original, good-conditioned cdi instead of sourcing for another set. BTW, The 030 card need to be programmed to the cdi serial number before it can be used, rite? But who can do the programing?

Programming of the card is done overseas..If u go racewerkz, they will dismantle ur cdi and take down the cdi serial num before ordering it from overseas using ur cdi serial num..once the card is here, they will mod some wiring and add in a switch which enables u to switch between the original card(if u still have 1) and a 030 card..

Actually any side effect on our bike using HRC 030 e.g. engine or parts premature stress, or over-temperature? Got the HRC 030 when I got the bike, but cdi wiring is being mod back to original by the ex-owner. So not sure whether to try it. The rewiring mod should not cost too much, rite?

clutch housing and plates can get locally.. No point ordering from overseas, the postage cost outweights everything. Locally should be around 500. Call up racewerks to check with william loh
