Hi, am wondering which are the bike shops near the JB checkpoint that i can go to? Not very familiar with the roads... Can anyone roughly direct me there? Especially those i can just walk to from the new JB checkpoint.....Thanks!

"Ah Gua" lane is actually a couple of kilometres away, further away from Jalan Wong Ah Fook. You need to ride or drive to get there.

Yeaap I Gotta Agree. Wei Ming's Shop Is The Best And Most Sincere. He Is Open From 3pm Till 3am And Only Closes On Wednesday. He Will Always Offer You The Best Parts And Tell You The Price & If You Have Not Enough Money Then He Will Offer You Normal Standard Parts. Other Mechs Usually Just Show You Any Cheap Parts And Try To Cheat You Into Believing They Are Good Parts As They Know You Are Singaporeans. To Them, Singapore Plates = $$$$$$$$.

Yeaa Im Not Trying To Say All The Other Mechs Are Out There To Cheat Singaporeans Other Than Wei Ming. I Meant As In Most Of Them Usually. There Are Good Ones Out There. Just Have To Be Lucky To Find The Right One!

For Big Bikes, As To What I Heard From Alot Of Ppl, Its Not Recommended To Do Servicing There. For Small Bikes Like Cubs & SP/KR Then Can.

Cosmetic Wise Then Can Do At JB. Just My 2 Cents. I Duno Bout Others! :)

Just Went To Wei Ming's Shop To Change Both Tyres For My X1 To Dunlop TT900 For Just RM180 Total. That's Sooo Cheap Compared To S'pore Dunlop TT900 Which Cost Around $90 Just For ONE!! Hahahaha.

wanwanwanwan u seem like a real avid supporter eh..

Hahaha. No Lahh Becoz I Just Feel That Among All The Shops There, His Shop Is One Of The Best Lah. Honestly Ah, Flame Me If You Guys Want, Eventhough Im A Malay, I Dun Trust Most Malay Mechs. Ive Been Cheated By Most Of Them. I Wud Rather Let A Chinese Guy Touch My Bike.

nothing racial bro but wei ming studied in singapore same class sumore after that he opened this shop and alot of our sec sch frens support him thats why he hires good mechs that are reliable, the other shops maybe need to build that ''frequent customer'' relationshiip b4 they give good rates.
