Confuse with my demerit points now

Hmmm, then i would like to ask. I obtain my 2b license on 10 Apr 08, class 3 at 13 jun 08, and 2a at 30 jun 09. I got an offence tat carries 6 demerit points on 24 Jun 09, for my class 2b bike. So now i'm still riding a 2b bike, how much points do i have left with? Kinda worried cause i was caught by a hiding traffic police overhead bridge just now.

 

Problem is cause of my class 2a taken at 30 Jun 09, will it be affected?

is der a new rule with regards to DIPs? which states that offeces are accumulated tgt and only will be given back a yr after the latest offence

Dec 2008 pass cls 3 (12pts)

March 2009 offence -6pts(bal 6)

Dec 2009 cls 3 probation over = +12 so total nw is 18 pts

24 Dec 2009 offence -8pts bal nw = 10pts

 

so qns is in mar 2009 will the abv person get back the 6pts frm Mar08 or will have to wait till Dec 2010 to get back all the pts?

i believe you should have 6 points till 24 jun 2010, then you will get back the other 6 points (provided you maintains a 12-month free of offences). then on 30 jun 2010, your 2a "probation period" will be over, and you will get back the full 24 points.

 

anyway not too sure if this will help you or not, but you can give it a try.

 

step 1: go to EDDIES

step 2: Driving License Enquiry

step 3: key in your NIRC and birthday

step 4: Status of Driver Improvement Points

step 5: key in your driving license serial number

 

then you will get something like this....

Status of Driver Improvement Points

You (SXXXXXXXH) have 0 demerit points as at 19/02/2010.

i believe you should have 6 points till 24 jun 2010, then you will get back the other 6 points (provided you maintains a 12-month free of offences). then on 30 jun 2010, your 2a "probation period" will be over, and you will get back the full 24 points.

Ya, i checked, and it says i got 6 demerit points. But i duno 6 is minus from 24 or 12.
