haha ...... the reason why ppl joint me ....

 

1. most of the trip i bring them go is free

2. some of the trip i bring them cover a bit

3. prices of the trip i org , no tour company can match my price one

 

so i f i were to start a tour company ... meaning my price will have to

go up by 100% only than maybe will be able to match my salary

 

anyway .... doing all of is .. is to have fun and make frens

1st. How many singaporean willing to pay and still need to ride his own bike?

2nd. How much places can bikes go?

3rd. How much he need to set aside for worker and recovering veh?

 

Lastly. Imagine to bring a group of ppl up cameron, He charge per head $200~300 for 3d2n with meal, how many will join?

 

As well ask encik to cr8 a web page and gather member and collect membership fee like other club.

When encik clock 1000trip, 10trip of 3NCR, 10trips of PBW, 20trips of bringing group of 100kph bikes.

 

When encik open, we all join for free, then newbie pay $50.00 per year.

so got 942 more trips to do lor .....

 

10 yr 1000 trips mean each yr need to do 100 trips leh ....

At the present, we are a group of friends going on fun trips and as such participants understand, tolerate sub-standard accomodations and many stop-and-wait for "lost" friends stops.

 

Once it becomes a tour-package ... everybody will expect served food, pre-arranged refreshments, proper beds and not mattresses on the floor, etc, etc.

All in all.... the logistics and pre-arrangements necessary will make it, not worth the while unless you can do at least 5 groups/trips per month and have a mininmum participant level of 10 for each trip.

 

Even then.... work out the sums, you wont be able to make very much, at the end of the day and you would be VERY TIRED.....!

 

Estimated, charge each participant $200 for a 3D2N trip.

10 participants each trip = total of $2000.00

5 trips a month = $10000.00

 

Means that for $10000.00... you got to supply your clients:

 

1) 50 room-nights

 

2) 30 meals

 

3) 2 salaried markers o_Oo_O

 

4) 1 salaried sweeper

 

and you will not have any free weekends and a full-time job making arrangements, etc, etc....

 

Above all this, you are no longer, a friend going for a trip together... you are now a tour leader, that owes it to your customers to give them good service!

This is where the fun ends for you!

On an up side... this far, trips have been well organised and could easily be rated as GOOD.

Think everyone is happy with present arrangement... so maybe we should keep it this way.

 

Once in a while, to show appreciation to those concerned with organization of the trips.... members should buy a round of BEER to show appreciation.

No last minute change to interesting trunk road, no impromptu stopover for a coffee and relax, have to really stick to the timing.

Basically, a bunch of people who paid and expect to be entertained.
