bro ar.. mito comes with damper.. stock.. so our handling is really stiff.. really stable during corner.. but i believe its so much more fun riding planet.. more relax.. so i wont go 4 damper if im riding 1.. its true that in high speed or in corner having a damper will b more stable.. but low speed i really wana eg. queueing into jb.. handle bar stiff.. clutch stiff.. evything stiff.. a damper can help us go against the bike's force which our arms cant handle.. eg. mayb ur frt tyre skidded during a corner.. without damper the handlebar might sway in n out.. but if u hav a damper.. it will assist our arms into maintaining handlebar straight.. told by my next bike's owner.. a 40+yo racer..

1) how do you figure it's water?

 

oil floats on water, whatever water will go straight down to the bottom, to the carb, where your bike will stall cos obviously your bike or anyone's bike dun run on water. so how can you see water? unless you drain the carb, you can't see water.

 

2) the fuel tank has two compartments.

 

open up the cap and you will notice an area outside of the place where you pump your fuel in. this is the fuel overflow area, in case you were too tigger happy with the pumping, the excess fuel will drain off via the outside area, down to an overflow tube. to confirm, just pump excess and you will see your planet pissing money down the hose.

 

3) if you hear sound when you open up the cap, it means there is a vaccum.

 

in this case, your bike will stall after travelling a certain distance cos the carb does not get any fuel when there is a vaccum created. kinked hoses is the problem.

anyone know what to do if speedo needle is broken ? replace the whole thing or just the needle ? replace the needle : something like the clock like that, plug out the needle and get it replace.

i opened up the speedo unit before, it seems the area where the needle is is unreachable. the clear plastic cover cannot be removed. maybe you have to yank harder, but i didn't try.

 

max was 165km/h for me. everything stock. speed was taken with an R1 and a SP-1

thinking of getting a planet or raptor but fear of the high maintenance fee to take care of...

 

can someone enlighten me...

superfour handlebar: around $50. from ah boy:cheeky:

 

when buy handlebar, look out for the material made, dimension,shape and the length of it...

 

material make : so wouldn't rust when kanna rain water.

dimension : some didnt fit planet thottles.

shape : make yr riding suck.

length : too long to hit car's mirror ?

yeah, no light needed, infra camera is possible, but it's foggy sometimes. Haven't been stopped at the customs... yet.

 

no going in the near future. different working hours now. used to go at night. try it with a friend who has a digital speedo. our speedo not accurate.

mine is done up with the sigma digital speedo

clocked 149.5km/h on second link

with WOT and no more to go, gear 6 with configuration of front 14 43 rear teeth sproket.

no, i not fixing it on for planet. i taking it for another bike as the meter had gone offwire liao. sorry for that. but where is Seng kwang ? and is the speedo included rpm, distant travel ? tks.

which model did you get?

i wun not say its super acurate.. but at least there there is a reading and more accurate then the stock speedo. yes got distant travelled.

shldnt scale off too far from true speed ba..

no RPM. of course .. u can add one digital rpm too...

 

yar i also want to fix up my orginal speedo. but.. cost seems expensive.

did the magnet fell off at any time? I was wondering if the epoxy will hold.

 

i was thinking of fabricating a bracket with a LED so that i can read the meter at night too.

 

BC1600 is quite good. i was thinking of getting BC800.

at first it came to my mind that the magnet will drop off too..

up till now no worries...

its still holding up...

fact that i only waited one day to dry .. then start wacking to test for top speed already..

 

hmm.. but there are times.. the speedo will go reset itself... hmm..

 

yar.. at nite... i have to rely on the street light to see my speed..
