Timing Chain

Sorry Guyz, not sure if this topic have been brought up b4....

 

- How do you know if it's the time for you to change your timing chain?

- When you change your timing chain, what other things do u have to change?

 

Not very sure about this timing chain stuff.

the tick tick sound from my engine... dunno whether is the timing belt to change?

 

As wat i noe ,The timing belt is responsible for ensuring that the pistons, inlet and exhaust valves are in the correct place of the 4-stroke cycle at the appropriate time. If not there is a real risk of collisions between these components, and as this is outside the purposes for which they were intended, they and other parts of the engine will be damaged.
