changed rear tyre dunlop TT900 RM50

changed air filter

changed tube- RM10

changed rear tyre rubbers inside the rim hub - RM15

then went home to spore

on the way at TPE before punggol road exit

i was at lane 2, a big long screw poked my tyre and punctured

I saw the nail inside the tyre. it was long.

How unlucky

The bike wobbled

Luckily no cars at back hit me.

Then I called ban hock hin motor ambulance

They came 20 minutes later

Tow bike to their workshop

Changed tube SGD 12

Inner tube SGD 3

Labour SGD5

Somehow they forget to quote me the tow charge SGD25

What is the moral of this lesson

Even new tire can be poked if a big screw / nail entered

Always have money in hidden wallet area (extra cash)

Always keep phone charged

Well it happen to me also new tyre change in morning, nails in the evening :giddy: but lucky tubeless tyre so repair kit comes in handy

ps : On my previous Hayabusa :cheeky:

Had the same experience before.... but not the cause of any nails... its because the tyre has already too thin and can't hold the heat generated by the contact with the tarmac. and result is, I have to change the inner tube 4 times that month....

about the front fork :::

after I had the accident which damage my front fork, it has been replaced with a new one by the workshop. I don't know wether it's the genuine YAMAHA or an immitation product, but it does feel different.... the whole steering works fine especially on high speed tight corners... and it does effect the rear arm behaviour too.... everything feels stiffer on bumps which just like what I wanted. If you change the front fork, make sure you buy a good one.... however, I don't know how to differ a good ones than the bad ones without testing it 'on-the-road', so I can't share any info with you guys about it... hehehe...

ok let me know when u wan to meet then but after I change my swing arm few months back I using orginal fork now with changing the fork oil to a higher density. when u mention ur handle loose it might be cause by the box, try without it & see if the problem still exist.

Yes - is normal

No - it might be ur steering cone loose or bearing wear out, check ur tyre pressure also.

Ride safetly

same to big bikes except at different speed cause they are much more heavier and they can install a damper to cure the problem

Hi guys, and welcome kickstart_77....

I have corrections to make. the new bike is actually 135LC and not CL135 heheehe....

anyway, today and yesterday, there were the launching and product showoffs at the TimeSquare Kuala Lumpur. Yamaha displays the standard bike and plus 3 units of modified and tuned 135LC, plus 3 more units of MotoGP version. they all look fabulouscioussuperfantastic.... :thumb:

the bike looks tough and it's price is reasonable....

Hey guys,

I saw the bike in JB on Sat at a bike shop. Its a 135cc liquid cooled bike. The mechanic told me that the bike has a coolant reservoir. Opened up the seat and looked underneath. It has less space that the Spark Z. Enough for a booklet of URA coupons. The bike does not have a clutch lever. Its on a monoshock rear and telescopic front. Oddly the bike is of a bigger cc but the front brake is only single pot. According to the mec the bike is using a bigger front reservoir. Saw gold, red and blue colours. Its going for RM5900/-. Thats about as much as I remember. Cheers.
