how come urs can hit 140, mine only 120 max.

think the box and sport rim slow me down or the cdi differ

haha.... just before I write this post, I clock a 140km again on the highway to get here (cybercafe).... seriously on flat road. no climb, no downhill....just straight flat.... but sometimes, the wind does play big part in achieving such speed.

big winds = less speed

slow winds / no winds = top, pure speed.

I don't really know how the bike can go that fast, but I think what I didi to the bike earlier. remember those days I noted that I changed my standard CAM to Racing CAM ? and recently, I installed an NGK Iridium Spark Plugs. and another fact that I use a Racing bred engine oil which I change at strictly 2000km run... and also another fact that I recently change my sprocket set to 15:37 and shorten that wheelbase as much as it allows...

and also a fact but not sure is... I made a little gap between the exhaust main body and the silencer with a nut. It made a different sound and an added pick-up.... I shall take pictures of that and post it here later.... so you guys can it out and feel it yourself.

well I think all that facts does contribute to acceleration and speed.... a couple of friends tried out my bike some time ago and agree it does feels different from theirs... I wonder very much...what if I installed the hand clutch ? hmmm ? it's going to rocket the highway as fast as the 2 strokes.... hahahahahaaaa..

I agree with gunshead, we shall take pictures of our bike and post it here.... maybe we can change more Ideas from that.

-- asnwering wildboar... :

I use a sport rims, a 80/90-17 TT900 tubeless for both front and rear. I pump out 250 front and 350 rear.

Because of my heavy weight....

ME = 92kg,

My GF = 45kg,

My GIVI Box(+contents) = +- 10kgs

actually, Sport Rims are better if you + your pessanger + cargos are a little heavy. I use spokes rims before and it all broke off in a cuople of days... :p ..... and plus, sport rims give you better control and comfort. they are reliable and durable and actually, not really heavy. go for it... worth buying.

oh by the way, I use Racing Boy 6 Spokes curve sport rims.

wahh... I talked too much... ehehee... anyway, hope infos will help you guys

umm... about the woblling Racing Boy 6 Spoke at hich speed ?... err... I don't think I had that... In fact, I hit too many holes to count on. and it still is as intact as the first day installed. no wobbling, not even a dent. KL has a lot of potholes than anyone can count... and GOD they're steep.... it hurts my back everytime I hit one.... and I still wonder how my Sport Rims can take such impact....

And answer is.... :-

NO...what you hear is just probably a personal bad time stories from one person and being told mouth-to-mouth.

OR, maybe someone is jealous about Racing Boys good sales..... thats all...

Since I use this sport rims, I never had such problem + after all the potholes it met with :p ... thank god, I can confirm it is safe to use on high speed....(hey, my bike is even faster than normal.... what up?)
