for me, these tyres are ok... I think it varies from person to person lah... you guys are into corners and speed, thats Y you all need Z rated ones... heheh... I wanna go touring... heheh.. so need other types.. hahah

you are right moka. the tyres contact patch on the road is just like the size of a

MRT card. so it important for types of riders for types of tyre.

see what type of rider you are and what type of tyre you need before you purchase.:goodluck:

BT010 is a well-balance between grip and mileage. From my understanding, BT010 is no more in production and is replaced by the newer BT012, which has better grip but lesser mileage.

Do check on the date on the tyres when u change em. They should provide u the clue if its old or new stock.

I prefer something in-between... tried BT090 before.. damn good feeling, but then short life span... tried arrowmax before... totally no grip, but then very long lifespan... so its a matter of need...

$380 is ok lah for 1 pair. Its not THAT high priced lah. considering that the tyres will keep yourself on the bike and your bike on the road.

Pay a bit more for good tyres. No regrets. BT012SS :thumb:

Prepare to lose those tyres in 3-4 months or less than 10,000km. :faint:

HKL :nono:

I do prefer tyres changed and balanced in an environment thats not rush.

I've changed my tyres in such shops that's packed with customers and placing back the rims were very quick without having checked the wheel bearings are in place properly.

Just to let you guys know....My rear wheel bearings cost me $160. (My bike was less than a yr old lah, so the bearings can never go bonkers rite?) All because of these frequent tyre changes with no proper procedure of placing back the rims.

Aiyah just my 2 cents worth. You fellas might think differently. :sian:

But we are still going to visit Lake Chini, right? A little shopping won't do any harm. Not sure what the others think. I'm okay with anything. Majority wins.
