Wow....you sure made me shut my trap

I was quoted $480 2 yrs ago for Pilot Sports size 120/70-17 & 180/55-17.....

Tyre price is unpredictable!!!

Happy for you that you got a great deal :thumb:

Hi, have searched the whole SBF but to no avail.. tried many other sources too.. in vain. Anybody here uses Michelin Pilot Road? I tried Xtreme Motors, but they not even sure about Pilot Road (weird.. ) so, where else carries it? I mean, it came rather new on the 2nd-hand bike I bought, so it muz have been changed in Singapore right?

Anywhere anyone?

Hmmm, you got the Pilot Power 2CT? Seems an interesting tyre.

No the tyres on my bike are not the dual compound.

I have std Pilot power I have been to Sepeng 3 times and the tyres are still working great.

Hi...think of changing a set of tyre for my CBR954. Eyeing for Michelin Pilot Power, Dunlop Qualifier, Metzeler Sportec M3 or BridgeStone BT015. Anybody know where to get these tyre in town? My friend recommended me to get tyre from LAB. It was told they sell tyre at very low price. Is tat true? Is it reliable to get tyre from them coz I afraid they might be selling old stock. Anyway, any shop got promotion for tyre or any shop selling tyre at low price?

Just share some comments on Dunlop Qualifier. After trying BT014, Sportec M1, Dunlop D208....I think this Qualifier did make a different. And I rate it the best street tyre I ever used. It's very soft in compound. When I hit a bump...I feel this Qualifier did absorb much impact...Quite a short warm up time. Steering wise...I rate it second to BT014. But still very good. Leaning from left to right and to left give much confidence. Traction is excellent. As for wet condition....not yet test.

I would recommend Qualifier for your next tyre change. Cost me $395 at Planet.

Anyone using Michelin Pilot Power?? How is it??

Posted

I'm using a new set of PilotPowers.

So far, it's a very grippy tyre. Riding on a hot day, my bike feels stuck to the road, can corner very low. One thing about the front tyre is that the profile is rather low, so when you corner the bike drops down by itself. Sweet, if you ask me.

With these PilotPowers I somehow have to confidence to take on meaner corners and my regular corners (PIE entries/exits) seem more controlled, I keep to the lane easier.
