Hello guys.I'm going to get a fz8 soon. I don't rly like the looks of the next year model.haha. anyway can anyone advise shops that sells fz8 besides HL?

even if u dont like the looks IMO the adjustable suspension will be much worth compare to a big heavy bike for touring that has nt an adjustable suspension..especially when u pillion

Dear bikers, I'll be collecting my new FZ8S tomorrow, so excited!

 

Anything to look out for? This is my first class 2 bike and first new big bike. Sorry if I'm asking repeat questions, but hope you bear with me.

 

I think for a start this is the important one: Soft or hard run-in recommended? At what speed and rpm limit?

Congrate bro on ur new Fz8,if have time n patience,run in urself will be enjoyable.For the rpm during running in,its all state in ur manual book..Safe riding...cheers

Oh lolx....Hope is the 2013 model you getting.Hmm ya...Im that Fz8 in fb. Don be surpise pple will approach u and ask why dont get Fz1 rather than the Fz8,only a few k different.I same as your wife,i like the Fz8 design better.. Well don be hesitate to pm me if u wan more information on your bike..Tomolo u will feel shiok on ur new bike, i still miss that feeling...haha

i called and asked HL already the 2013 model is not in yet.

 

its easy to identify the 2013 model, its comes with fully adjustable forks and suspension. 2012 and earlier u will see the fork no adjustments can be done. the stock pipe is much slimmer and longer as well on the 2013, 2012s are short and fatter.

 

if its priced the same as the older 2012s, def get or wait for the 2013 model, adjustable shocks and forks easily can fetch above 1k so y be a losing customer?

New muffler shape adds to the visual appeal making for a more attractive design.

Rebound damping adjustability added to shock allows riders to adjust the machine depending on rider and passenger needs.

Rebound and compression damping adjustability added to forks allowing adjustability for sport touring or urban assault.

i called yesterday, the HL guy mentioned end of this month.. but for now the 2012 versions they are clearing comes with free akra pipe..the new 2013 might nt have that promo.
