A) should be 0-1000km max 5800rpm. 1000km change oil filter and engine oil.

B) should be 1000-1700km max 6900rpm.

C) 1700km onwards up to you already lol...btw the prolong mean u cannot hold the max rpm at the said running in period more than 2-3 sec. To make it simple just go below the max rpm recommended during running in

I wanted to get this bike when i passed my class 2. But end up getting other bike bec heong leong customer service was bad and they dont have the colour I wanted which was in their catalog. When to the show room. 2times no 1 around. ask the lady in office she has no idea if the colour is available. called the boss he say he will be around next week when shop opened. Went there the next week no 1 around, called him he said he will come in 1hr, and didnt appear in 1 hr and I basically never come back.

 

Didnt went to other bike shop as the colour I wanted was not available. And few months later I see it available everywhere.

yes fazer 8 come with abs model & non- abs model. u can enquire with ur bike shop. n comfirm them there correct model b4 downpayment

Biketech21.. its sw motech mainstand though..

 

my opinion on it is that it doesnt lift the rear wheel as high as the original yamaha's mainstand.. also do take note if u have aftermarket pipe, the mainstand would smack against your rear suspension link when u push ur bike down from mainstand.. so use some creativity to put some form of cushioning.. for me i just tape a rubber dinning chair bottom onto the mainstand.. cheers

Ah thks for tat...spent hours online looking for one and the cheapest i've come across is approx. $312 from motosport webby, yamaha original one with shipping...

 

i'll expect sw motech to be more expensive

 

I did went to 2 bikeshop earlier (late sat) and ask about it and unsurely they quote me $200plus need to order but couldnt call and check to confirm cause its late (5pm plus) and the agent has already closed for the day so finger crossed they got the pricing right..

 

Will call on monday and ask again

 

Anyway the mainstand smacking rear suspension link ur referring to is the sw motech or yamha orignal one?

Just wondering, are spare parts hard to get considering that it is no longer in production?

How about it’s reliability so far from you guys who have been riding it awhile, any common problems that this bike gives?
