yeah bro. loving it. now cant wait for the other stuffs! haha

@muhdaiz: bro, here's some videos of the power of carspeed

(but i cannot guarantee if there are any after effects on tiger, on pulsar need to re-route some wiring to avoid "dancing" and high rpm)

[Technical Issue]

My speedometer and odometer seems to have stopped working!

Rode out to somewhere and it was still fine, parked for about 15minutes somewhere and left. Noticed it was not working already.

a simple case of cable loose?

solved. the speedocable unscrewed itself from the back of the console. a 15minute job of undressing the bike, reinserting the hard squarish end with sufficient lube, and screwing it back on tight. ahhh... the deed was done, she was dressed, and the sweet twiddle of the gauge was back again.

I just got my Tiger on Friday. After I collect my bike I went to Ah Boy shop as I know him for many years since young he give me a very good price for my bridgestone tyre and I had fixed a 48L box. He have the bracket for Tiger box mounting. Just like the bracket for Yamaha Spark. As for the tyre, front is bridgestone BT 45 and rear is bridgestone BT 39. I was told by many people and Ah Boy also told me the same thing. That BT 39 have better grip on the ground than BT 45. Using BT 45 for front is better cutting of water when raining. So guys out there who is ridding Tiger can advice me about this as is it correct? Thank you.

welcome to the tigger club :D

im not sure how validated those claims are but as the saying goes, you cant go wrong with bridgestones. im using the stock IRC tyres btw. i guess when it rains, it helps to ride cautiously.

what was your tyre profiles for both? the stock is 90/90 and 100/90.

the clearance between the back swing arms make me wonder how much wider can it take

Hi nbk3 tyre profiles is the same they says that better not change bigger tyre because

1. tyre bigger on the wheels will brag the engine. Just like u buy an over size shirt, it will not only pull u down n heavier also. So the engine will stress out.

2. Related to 1 will make your bike consume more fuel.

At first rear tyre I wanted to change 110 but that's what they told me.

it will not affect that much if you did not up size too much...

from 100 to 110 the fc will not be affected by much...

wider tires give you slightly better grip on the road...

Honda Tiger has lot of potential, even more than Bajaj Pulsar because it has 6 gears v/s Pulsar 5 gears. Its a full 200CC so makes use of Class 2B to the fullest. Its sad to see it almost totally absent on SG roads.

I guess the reason is that no dealer is marketing this bike aggressively. A huge opportunity missed for Singapore Bike dealers as well as Singaporean bikers :nono:

a friend of mine also said the same thing. that Tiger has a lot of potential. the only thing is that i am not too sure how to maximize it. haha. thats the only bad thing abt having a tiger. not too much ppl around to ask for help from. though the bros from Bajaj are very helpful in helping us. i always smile when i see another Tiger out on the road.

i've ridden a few bikes like fz150i, rxz, cubs and ybr125 when learning. the best bike for me is Tiger! though its not a lot of bike and considering that i still am using p-plate(and still a bike noob), my opinion dont carry a lot of weight! and im being biased.haha

bro revhappy, you're riding what bike?

actually you can join the indonesian tiger group for more insight of what you can do with your tiger ... like us we make friends with the indon pulsar or any bros there riding pulsar .. automatically they will link you to their group to join

for pulsar we have PRIDES and PULSARIANS .. these 2 groups are very committed and well organised! .. reasons why we have such racuns on our bike without harming our engine!! ..

previously most people look down on pulsar .. i even at one occasion was finger pointed by rider with big bike ... saying loudly saying my bike engine can last for only 2 years and then will totally go for scrapped or overhauled ... at that time i was just a newbie to pulsar .. and bcos of that i challenge him that it is not a bike problem but basically a rider problem .. so now after 3 years of riding my pulsar 200 .. my engine is still strong and healthy .. all these thank God to have us meet our Prides and Pulsarian friends .... for their incredible knowledge and share ... reasons too i shared what i know and have to all my pulsar friends and bikers .... hehehe

for tigers .. i did post the vid ... go to their facebook and just tag one of them .. you will be surprised to see how helpful they were to us bikers from spore!! ..

try this ...
