thumper?

details bout the bike...can someone translate..

The essential Specs are as follow (some guess work, my chinese is really bad)

Overall dimension (L x W x H) : 2210 x 860 x 1330mm

Seat height high/low settings: 840mm / 790 mm

Ground clearance : 200mm

Dry mass (weight): 195kg

Engine type : Water -cooled single cylinder 4-stroke

Piston displacement: 589.9 cm3

Valve system : SOHC, 4 valves per cylinder

Compression ratio: 9.7 : 1

BHP : 30kW@6000rpm (40hp)

Torque : 51Nm @ 4500rpm

Transmission : 5 speed, dunno what type.

Max speed : 150kph

Fuel Capacity : 19 litre (3litre reserve), front page stated 20 litre

Consumption : 3 litre/100km....(no speed mentioned, but quite incredible)

Much of the parts used are from established companies, such as brakes from Asimco (chinese co.) electronics from Siemens and Bosch. Power is decent but the figure doesn't look too attractive once it's weight is factored in.

To convert to SGD, this bike is about SGD5921. Even with COE in, it's below SGD7000. With the absence of after-market parts, you won't be tempted in spending unnecessary money to mod the bike. Anyway it comes with a big tank, for that price, what else do you want ?

Put in a BMW logo, and paste "GS650" stickers on both side, you could probably fool half the world.

For a person like me who spends his time more facing the monitor than out there doing justice on adventure....

We seek nothing more, nothing less....just passion.
