No, the one From Stung treng to the border and leading up to Pakxe.

 

By the way, the trip from Luang Prabang to HuayXai via Luang Namtha was hell man......the roads were so bad that even my trusty F800GS took 8hrs for a distance of 470+km.....my side mirror came loose, my wind shield tightening screw flew off....some of my gadgets screw came loose.....and of course my joints became pain also...

 

Am now at Mae Hon Song for two days..

Yup ... the same happened to my ride on that stretch . lots of screws came off and missing ... at some areas I was only limited to 25-30km/hr ... plus I did 3 hours of night riding there. Like you said, it was hell and all I was thinking of was my family back home ... Not recommended to ride at night in Laos ...

Would you be able to email me the details too please? I'm looking to fly an F650 either into Siem Reap with me in mid June or have it sent into HoChiMinh City in late June and then go north, then into Laos and out via Bangkok a couple of months later.
