was scouting for pilot road3 few months back.but like damn no news of the tire coming in and non of the bike shop that i mostly frequent and those popular one that i know seems to have stock. in the end settle for the sceptic bt023...(had some bad experience with older bridgestone model). so far the tyre seems ok as this is the improve version. But still the michelin pr3 they quote imo is still reasonable.. if you changing at the same time can top up and replace the angle valve for pumping tire. very useful and very good.

Well, Team HKL quoted me $430 was for rear 180 low profile tires, which is not the actual specs(170). Was told that using 180 rear tyre will scratch rear tyre if corner is very sharp and rider lean too low

So I stuck to the original specs(170). Same price at $430.

1st impression, very good feedback on what the front is doing. The compound feels softer to the touch, compared to my previous 023.

Wow boss! It's good to see you around! Are you still riding ST11? I've been reading the old posts on this thread and appreciate your helpfulness.

 

Btw, I just went on a road trip, and discovered two things I need to change on my ST. First problem I encountered was numb hands. It was really quite bad, till I lost all feeling in my hands and had to stop. My bike engine feels very smooth, so it's not a mechanical problem. I'm thinking of changing to an all foam grip, anyone knows where to get in S'pore?

Yes I'm still riding my ST, my all time trusted machine.

 

It's not difficult to solve numb hands, u need to refer back to the school basics, relax ur shoulder n elbow. Don't get stiffen up n crunch on throttle will do.

Have anybody tried pushing the bike at second gear, up to RPM's red zone? around 8000rpm.

 

If yes, was there any backfire? Need to more info on this as i believe our bike's age catch up and ICM not functioning well as before.

Er... for those who didn't do it, please don't. I am just troubleshooting my bike's ICM and firing order. Take note, second gear at 8000rpm can reach speed of 140km, so please do not try on neighbourhood areas, Dangerous.

Hey guys.. does any knw where to get the ST11 wind deflector for the mirror and for the side fairings. My cousin is getting for me both sets new ones for about $180 to $200 (overseas). Last know price for just the wind deflector is $90+ (second hand). Wondering if the price my cousin is buy for me sound ok or not..
