Hey guys . . .

Can i know wat is the colour of the original rear springs ? Is it yellow or blue in colour. I went to hong leong yday and the mechanic says mine is not e original one. He can't see the labels or markings on it cos it's faded. Mine is yellow in colour.

Ans, i'll reserved the small jacuzzi next to the pool for u and AJ . . . so that the two of u can have ur "pte function" going on . . . hahaha ! !

Anyone got any idea how big is the fuel tank? everytime my indicator shows 1 bar and i pump only can pump 12 liters...

http://www.yamaha-motor-europe.com/products/motorcycles/street/tdm900a.jsp?view=techspecs

20L by spec..

or check here..

Yamaha's doc says it's 20 liters, actually it's a little bit more.

If you take an empty dry tank, you can put 21.50 liters inside, assuming you don't stop when the fuel level reach the metal thingy. Gently move the bike sideways to push the air out of the tank, and fill it slowly.

http://jbx9.free.fr/tdm/index.php?page=GAUGE

Display Volume Theorical cruising-range

http://jbx9.free.fr/tdm/images_GAUGE/gauge_06.gif 21.50 L (+/-0.20) 430 Km (267 mi)

http://jbx9.free.fr/tdm/images_GAUGE/gauge_05.gif 16.50 L 330 Km (205 mi)

http://jbx9.free.fr/tdm/images_GAUGE/gauge_04.gif 13.50 L 270 Km (167 mi)

http://jbx9.free.fr/tdm/images_GAUGE/gauge_03.gif 10.50 L 210 Km (130 mi)

http://jbx9.free.fr/tdm/images_GAUGE/gauge_02.gif 7.50 L 150 Km ((93 mi)

http://jbx9.free.fr/tdm/images_GAUGE/gauge_01.gif 4.50 L 90 Km (56 mi)

http://jbx9.free.fr/tdm/images_GAUGE/gauge_00.gif 3.00 L (reserve) 60 Km (37 mi)

that's theoretical figures... last night, mileage was 390 and can squeeze 18.5l..

so 20km/l and guess i'm quite low range.. compared to TakeHow or Encik Pak... they can get 24km/l
