wheras, ansmania's pelicans are using sw-motech quick lock system (easily detachable) =D

Guys,

 

Just wanna share a lobang with u..

 

Pirelli MT-60, my current front tire, is available for order at motoworld.. It is going for SGD140 including installation and takes approx 2 mths to arrive..

 

How good is it? Max speed I have tried is 180 before my front tire kinda lifts; noting my heavy rear boxes and underweight me. It's max speed rating is 190 and its tubeless.. My current tire has been to Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia and u guys know how far I ride to work.. In total, it lasted me two changes of tourance (rear tire).

 

Another thing to know it that it's a little bigger than our usual front tires so u need to raise your front fender a little..

 

A little disclaimer by motoworld. They told me others have asked about this tire for our bikes but they were resistant in selling cos it's specially made for the rear wheel and they do not wanna "risk" it to be put in front. Why did they sell it to me? Cos I managed to convince them that it will work. Anyway, we have been using rear tires on our front wheels anyway. Anyway, I think it is really responsible of motoworld in this aspect; not juz insisting on the sale but safety too.

 

Finally, the most important bit, motoworld will be confirming their shipment on Monday, 10 May. So that's the deadline for u to reply to me..
