I used to own that model,while building it up,someone wants to buy it,so no chance to really ride it..great torque,lighter than XRV750

cool... really want to know ohlins inverted forks set up..

 

he told me his friend George did it with ohlin aftermarket forks... but dunno what model.

 

and next thing will be sport fairings..

 

and next thing will be Turbo on TDM..

 

Alvin would want to discuss also...

 

and next thing will be 2mm fork adjustment that you can achieve 200kmh in 20sec

 

and next thing will be 2psi tyre pressure adjustment that you can corner 2 inch down..

Hey guys...i m toying with the idea of getting the 1200z.but,need to let go my 660z.it will be a bargain deal.anyone keen?milege 3500km only.basically milege is not for transport.bike sits at multistorey crpk since last offroad ride.full accesories

Went down to asphoon just now to Werk some deal on the black S10 but just not my luck !

When I reached there . . . saw a tag on the bike stating sold ! Enquired from the sales staffs n they infd dat a big size Malay guy just bought the bike . He said the guy came riding a white Yamaha trail bike but not sure the model . GUESS WHO CAME to my mind . . . jeng jeng jeng ?!

really.. last week he was saying he is not impressed with S10.. but again... anything is possible..

i was at LTA today transfering my Capo to the new owner...the rest of the day I'm at work or at home on my lappy...

 

I was greatful to get to sit and ride the 1200z last sat.....change my whole perception of the bike...

 

It's a big Adventure bike...but not to my liking on battling it offroad...the 660z is perfect...

it should b at least 4psi dw leh.... to increase contact 'patch' area.....

Although is only about 1,5inches difference in hight from the stock one so the hight does not change, it takes A LOT of fabrications and alteration to make it fit properly. Also, is very expensive. He suggest looking for R1 forks, '02 '03 model with a connector from FZS1000. Will be easier and more economical.

then again, r1 forks will have too little travel...

Remember these forks need caliper mounts (real expensive too).
