this bike came in since 2005-2007.. now no more production coz aint popular as the drzs or ktms.. btw i didnt came to orchard for the ride out.. , so i tot starting this thread to meet the rest of the fmx riders..

just saw one beautiful fmx on the way back to s'pore @ woodlands checkpoint on wed in the wee hours.

 

somehow a FMX looks 'correct' and balanced, doesn't need any cosmetic or internal mods... maybe an aftermarket exhaust and sprockets )

I am very captivated by this bike.. it gives me an impression of a modern xr650r. I am a very big fan of the XR family. Plus it's quite decently priced, 13.5K machine price right?

nah.. actually its more than 13.5k when it was sold here.. if im not wrong its about 16 otr.. now more production.. maybe can check with boon siew maybe they got keep some in their warehse..

I would think so. Boon Siew said they stopped bringing it in cos of the fierce competition from the DRZ.

Hope you have no issues with parts and servicing.

So far no problems yet, parts i believe is compatible with xr650 n dominator. I bought it on impulse as its cheaper than the drz. It was love at first sight haha. The bike is great so far, no regrets yet...
