Friend, if interested, just get a rs125.

 

Just dun get a RS125 which have been equipped with MILO EXHAUST for a long time. other than thAt you are safe, the cost are similar to SP. Dun ask me why, I lazy to explain.

 

fyi, SP is better in performance then SP, and lastly, you go and die better, haven pass want to dream of modding to 200... (What is youngster thinking these days)

Basically, 4 stroke bikes are economical bikes with good fuel consumption & easy maintenance. Both, YZF-R125 & RS125 have the looks but RS125 is one point plus as for performance wise. How much is RS125 full tank cost ? How much would a 2T oil cost for RS125 ? Changing engine oil is cheap right ? About less than S$25 right ? Well, I ain't sure about the modin as in what to mod to further improve my bike performance. I will sure get good LED lights & might change to a better footrest. May be you can guide me about the moding of the bike. Hehe. This bike performance is really good as the pick up is awesome. Haha, after modding, the speed of 200km/h only can be ride in JB as Singapore got restrictions. Lol.

rs125 full tank cost how much is not a matter, its just the volume of it only. What matters is the fuel consumption when you get it and after you happily mod it and sadly pay for the increased fuel consumption bill.

 

2t for rs125 would vary depending on what you want. If you want 200km/h or whatever, don't waste your time struggling with a 2B bike ;) The class 2 horses can go up to 200km/h with ease on highways, but not everybody has the balls to hold it on a 2b bike :goodluck:

So the fuel consumption is betta before modding it. Thanks for the info. I'm not wanting 200km/h. Of course it's nonsense expecting a 2B bike to go up to 200km/h. It depends on the rider too.

You can go to Aprilia Riders forum, go for their meet ups or tell them you want to know more about the bike, their ppl are friendly and usually are up to meet, explain and go through all your questions..

 

That was what I did the last time, and they welcomed me to their meet ups, and had most of my "stupid" questions answered...

 

Their 2T cost $20-$22 a bottle.... As for FC I am not sure as it also depends on rider and how they ride their baby... Slowly make friends by getting involved with the Aprilia Riders...

when u 1st get the bike i suggest you better use a period of time to get use to the speed and posture, or invest in good braking system. MOD the bike..keep aside 1st...just my 2cents

Or perhaps they leave their number and ask you call him to chat and answer your questions... I'm also still learning about the bike... Hee... Waiting for their next meet up or DIY sessions uh...

Wow, tht's really nice of them. It's nice for them to even try arranging someone to tumpang me. You own a RS 125 ? They seems to have fun outings. Btw, the forum thread is Apilian Riders , right ?

when u learn at school the posture of body when ride is straight but for sport bike is bend forward so need time to get use.since u r newbie u should invest in a good braking system ma.MOD the bike to become faster lo..tat one should not think 1st...hope u get what i mean...hehe...:cheeky: :cheeky:

Nope. I not getting the new one.. I am aiming for 03 - 05 model... The seller's bike is 03 version... By far I was given two choices..

 

Choice A: take over the ownership. Pay shop $5272... Plus transfer fee about $70- 100...

 

Choice B: Be his subrider, COI.. No payment to owner... Just pay insurance top up which is $100...

The reason why i dun want to get the newer version despite it's slim outlook was because they have power restriction.. And watching them (the aprilian riders) DIY on a 03-05 model and 06 - 08 model, it is easier to open up an 03-05 and do what you have to, clean valve all these... But 06-08 models got so many screws to undo before you open the fairing...
