Looi's uncle quoted me 2.5k for initial down payment if i plan to pay by installment. So do i just need to pay 2.5k for a start and able to ride the bike off or theres still additional charges? Any idea of the interest rate there. How do they count by the interest rate? Need some rough ideas...

2.5k? he told me 3k. he must have not like my face. lol.. actually, 2.5k is just to cover your insurance and some guarantee as your bike's worth is more than 10k. so, let's say after totalling up machine price+COE+insurance+admin fees+road tax+change/add of parts, total for example will be 13.5k.

 

minus 2.5k for downpayment, u need to hire purchase 11k. let's say you stretch it to 5 years. looi's interest is 5% so total interest will be 25% for 5 years. (11k X 1.25 / 60 mths) will be your monthly installment then.

 

for me, i intend to down 4k, left 9.5k to hire purchase. if can installment for 30 mths, my mthly installment will be $356.25. hope this will help you understand better.

usually, they will already have a ready amount of COE in hand cos when they buy the COE, they can keep it for a few months. if you want them to bid for you also can. but most people don't bother la. why wait when bike's COE is not that expensive. anyway, don't hope on bike's COE going sharply down. quota is getting smaller so price might be around $1K for a few mths.

Loois uncle told me that the next batch of shipment be much cheaper. Possible? Any idea when its coming in? Im guessing it to be early next year since now is the holiday season. I hope the 09 edition coms in, kinda like the red one. And another thing. I tried to sit on it once and when i straighten up the bike from its side stand, my feet could barely match the ground cept for my toes lol. Im 1.75 here. Whats everyones height? Any of you here around my height having difficulties.

yeah.. i heard about the next batch. i asked around a few other shops which will bring r125 soon, they said will be around early feb so the next shipment for loois motor might be around feb also. but cheaper?? sure or not? if really ah, good for me!! and i believe the next batch will be the 09 version and so without the yellow colour scheme. but the red one looks nicer than the 08 white/red colour.

 

btw, about height, no problem la. im sure u ride around singapore not in racing position so not so bad. about the feet touching the ground ah, i'm sure u can learn to stop the bike using one leg to support the ground. if you wait for the next batch, buy with me also la! me and my cuz most prob buying around feb/march. if 3 buy together maybe can get better deals. lol.. for latest quote, call loois motor at 67431072 better la.

Im 1.7m only, my left leg can fully rest on ground, just sit more front n leg in front of the footrest and lean a little bit to the left. =) dunno la maybe my leg longer LOL! But u wanna say tall, scramblers tallest LOL!!!
