Yea I guess. Such a rare bike to see on the road these days..

I keep spotting this girl riding CBR on AYE a few times already. 125 or 150 I not sure. How to tell the difference anyways?

hey guys,

any tips to properly break-in a r125's engine? i've read about the motoman method (run hard for the first 32km) but im quite doubtful as to how effective it actually is.

Well, the advice i got from the Looi's ppl is to just ride normally... But i used the motoman's method and i don't see any problems... just that my engine oil did not have the metal flakes motoman claimed would appear.

Performance wise i cannot comment cos i haven't ridden any other R125 stock. But all i can say my fuel economy is hovering around 38.5km/l. Highest was 42. lowest was 37 when i was doing the hard run-in. Top speed 117. I think this is cos i never remove speed limiter.

any other aspect i cannot really comment cos i not really an expert or a racer and i haven't really tested my bike. That's all i can offer you. Cheers

thanks for your reply. i didnt really run in my bike hard, havent hit into the redlines yet. past the 32km already, so kinda late for motoman's method. how is your gear shifting and engine braking usage like?

yea, the R1 is nice.

i was attracted to it's exhaust. gave it a slight stroke and the alarm went off.

well, motoman's method did not call for redline anyway. just arnd 7-8 k rpm on r125...

During the run in? well all i can say is that i changed gear every 30 sec. damn shag. have to siam traffic too. driving behind me would be dangerous. lol

For sure you've more experience! You got to thailand on your SP leh. That's like OMGWTFBBQ in my point of view.

As for the gilera thing. I'm just referring to the way some people like to brag about their rides.
