Wah jia lat, The sticker posted to my office and now i have no idea HOW to past it to the tank. I thought can DIY like other sticker can past myself.

 

The LED i got to go down check on the quality first before making purchases, So got to take some time on this. Maybe before the trip will have this item up and ready. ha

Does e sticker comes with transfer tape? If not, u can buy transfer tape from e sticker shop next to TP hq. They can sell u base on e size u need.

 

Anyway, 2 qns:

Where do u guys mount ur IU?

 

Also, do u need the gps bar mount to mount gps on e middle of the handlebars? What r the options? I currently haf 2 set of ram mount arms, n im jus thinking in advance of how to mount it.

Just take masking tape paste it all over to join one piece and paste on your tank. After that masking tape leave it there to protect the pad sticker:lol:

IU- Was mounted on the handle bar clamp by the bike shop, Intending to change the location to my current Touratech wind shield mount bar side by side with the GPS mount from touratech.

 

Alternatively i'm looking at using RAM mount (3rd party type) to mount IU on the bar clamp to look nicer instead of using those metal strip to secure. So when need to use IU then fix on the mount with arm and connect cable of IU. (Some cutting my required for IU cable, By doing so will also void the warranty. So it up to individuals.)

 

Don't need to use can keep back, Especially during touring then can keep at home leaving the ball mount on the bar and look discreet.

Tank pad - use clear masking tape to 'hold' the design. Spray a mixture of soup/water solution onto the clean tank.position the tank pad.remove the masking tape.look for sun to bake the tank pad.complete & enjoy....or bring to just wheelz & ask them to paste for you.lol

 

LED - no worries bro, if u getting then just another for me.I will get Ken to install for me...I looking at constant yellow for heavy fog & flashing white & yellow combo during road awareness purpose.

IU was fix by HL on the left of the fork triple clamp.

 

GPS I had the touratech lockable mount onto the supply bar from the touratech adjustor windscreen bracket which is just above the speedo.

LED- Constant = All the way on or = constant flashing ? (maybe need to look for specific light module)

 

After Mr Ken installed on yours can "cham siong" fixing for mine as well or maybe together ? ha, will pay for workmanship also.

I was toying that since there is a module that control the flashing pattern means if there is no module will be constant ON once the switch is in 'on'.therefore the module should be able to do a constant 'on' or into 'flash' mode.

 

Maybe I popby SLT to look see too.If I recall the LED is not weatherproof However I'm sure some silicon glue & black tape can't re enforce the cover.only worry due to air tight which create heat issue to the LED.lol

Hi guyz... Need some help... Can any1 let me know if we can modify e clutch... 2 make it lighter or softer or easier 2 pull or can modify sumtink... Reason is i juz owned diz bike 2 mths plus n i got my left wrist ligament tear during werk bout 1.5 mths back... Bike has been sitting at e carpark since then... Mileage only 2800km... Itz really wasted coz i don 1 2 sell it... But i cant even clutch in... Going 4 operation soon... I hope sum1 could help me by contributing ideas on wat i shd do... Can i juz chg gear w/o using e clutch... Diz injury going 2 b long term... Worst case is i hv 2 sell it n get an auto bike which im reluctant as i hv not really feel e bike... Really sian... Sori 2 trouble u guyz n thkz a lot in advance...

S10 clutch is Hydraulic type.therefore, maybe a bigger pressure pump type will 'soften' the effort needed to clutch in?

 

More reputable bikeshop should be able to advice u properly rather then those sale-orienated type.

I used the Brembo RCS 16 clutch for my blackbird previously. It does significantly reduces effort on the clutch lever.

 

I will be migrating that lever over to my s10 after breaking in.. So far, based on what I tried on the s10 at stationary, I do believe e RCS pump will help.

Waste half a day(most of the time on waiting) of my life today at a bike shop today but the mech is unable to get it up & running.

 

If so, can share the shop & price ?

Rizoma is bling bling, but i think tat e alu construction wil b more durable than e usual plastic one.

 

Clutch pump, i got mine from Excel. U can also get from Sporting motor, unique, motoworld etc major bike shop
